None were as effective in bringing potential buyers as Joanne, which is why I hired her twice to list the property. The second time, we lowered the price a bit and she found a buyer for me within a short period of time; during the listing she had dozens of people view the property. Her work ethic and attention to detail stood out from the others and I would hire her again without hesitation. I especially appreciated her attention to detail and excellent customer service. They were very knowledgeable about the properties I saw and the areas. Within the space of a week, I was able to find a place, make an offer and have it accepted, and have a home inspection. To accomplish all of that, Joanne and Mary obtained all of the answers to my questions and the appropriate documentation in a timely manner, and the home inspector, closing attorney, and insurance agency that they recommended were also very thorough and prompt in handling their aspects of the sale. She provided professional advise on the purchase of the house and guided us through everything we needed to look at and be aware of potential problem areas. She set us up with Jimmy Parker with Gateway lending who was excellent. He made the lending process very easy. Also, she set us up with a house insurance agency that saved us approximately $1,500 dollars. She was responsible for noticing a small and almost invisible crack in our marble kitchen counter top and demanding that it be replaced. It was replace on the day of our closing. She was excellent in keeping us advised of the status of the building occupancy permit and the status of the lending process.

My in-laws passed away earlier this year and left me with some rental property in Surfside Beach that was in pretty bad shape. I found Joanne online and was impressed by her reviews but it wasn't until I phone interviewed her (along with several other agents) that I knew she was the agent for me. Right from the start she was a good listener, great at problem solving, positive, and professional. Even though we didn't meet face to face (as I'm in NC), I felt right from the start that she understood me & knew what needed to be done. In the weeks that followed, Joanne not only proved to be all that I'd hoped she would be, but a lot more. She was quick to respond when I reached out to her but also proactive in contacting me with updates or strategies. She was dependable, reliable, honest and kind. She was resourceful beyond belief - I hired only vendors she recommended, from my lawyer to my plumber and all of them operated with the same work ethic and intergrity that I had come to expect from Joanne. Even though some pretty bizarre & challenging situations arose during the selling process, Joanne met every situation with professionalism, good humor and sometimes even grace. To say that it was a pleasure to work with her is a huge understatement. When I saw her name appear on my phone, I found myself genuinely glad to hear from her. In the end, I received excellent prices on both of the properties I sold through Joanne as she was an excellent negotiator. Both properties sold more quickly than I had anticipated. My really only complaint is that I don't have an excuse to speak with Joanne any more. She is not only an exceptional real estate agent, she's a wonderful person.
