Raised on the south shore of Long Island, Joan Woletsky has been coming to Fire Island since her children were in elementary school. They first spent their summer days in the Village of Saltaire, and eventually ventured out to Ocean Beach as her kids grew older. The lively atmosphere of the Village of Ocean Beach was the perfect fit for her family. Joanie rented in Ocean Beach for many years to come. Before becoming a real estate broker, Joanie was a pharmaceutical sales representative for about 10 years. She then took a break from the working world to raise her 3 children. After 14 years at home, she decided it was time to jump into the real estate industry. When not working, you can find Joanie spending time with family in California with her children and Long Island, and volunteering with various animal welfare organizations, including the Fire Island Animal Welfare Society.

    I can't say enough great things about Joanie! I've been working with her for over 10 years now as she rented me my first house in Ocean Beach and then sold me my first house in Ocean Beach almost 5 years after the first rental. She's always been there for me if I ever needed anything while I was off the island. She's been an amazing real estate agent for me over the years. She honestly knows real estate on the island better than anyone and is just the best to work with. I can't recommend her enough! She's the best on the island, hands down!
