He brought in professional photographers, which included drone video, and an interior designer to help stage the home, this made all the difference. The phone started ringing off the hook with showings!!! Jim had a contract on my house within 10 days. This was a difficult sale, as there was Court approval involved, contingency clauses in the contract, etc. Jim was able to navigate all the stumbling blocks and closed the sale right before Christmas. When I was contemplating retirement Jim took us around to many homes in case we relocated back to Delaware. When I finally retired two years later and decided to move back to Delaware I needed a home on short notice because our home in Alabama sold quickly. Jim was already familiar with what we were looking for so he had a number of properties ready for us to view. We were able to view a variety of properties then choose, negotiate and purchase a home within two days. ZillowVERIFIED I met Jim Rice in April 2013 when my daughter hired him to sell her house. He brought in a professional stager to stage her house and a professional photographer to take beautiful pictures at no additional cost. As a result, her house sold in 4 days at close to asking price. He recommended a handyman that my daughter still uses to fix a couple of minor items for substantially less than what we expected to pay. Unfortunately, the buyer's appraiser appraised the house lower than the contract price, but Jim used his excellent negotiation skills to get the buyers to put down more money on the house. Due to the excellent service Jim gave to my daughter, my husband and I decided to use him when we wanted to downsize and move into an over 55 community in the area. Jim worked with us for over 6 months before we found the perfect house. Unfortunately another couple also put in a bid and we had to put in "Best and Final" offers. Jim knew we really wanted the house and again used his expertise to write an offer that said we would pay $250 more than any other reasonable offer received. We got our dream house thanks to Jim's knowledge, patience and his willingness to listen to what we wanted. I highly recommend Jim Rice whether you are buying or selling you home.
