Jim is an excellent realtor. He took care of our needs every step of the way. Listed our home at what we thought was a fair price, and market conditions being what they are, we had several offers on our home the first day! Jim provided to us sage advice on preparing our home for sale, and guiding us through the offers to settle on the best offer (sellers beware, the highest bid isn't necessarily the best).

We had a somewhat unique set of requirements and a specific budget. Jim was respectful of both the budget and the requirements and we found our property. The deal went through without a hitch. The second was a quick deal. We were looking for turnkey, low budget, starter home as a rental. These go quickly in today's market but Jim was fast, respectful of our parameters and we came in under budget. We had a short window to close due to the seller and he came through again on time and no hassles. We recommended Jim to our kids and they are working with him happily now as well.

ZillowVERIFIED I have used Jim Hood and his group for real estate transactions numerous times. The first time I used Jim Hood and his ReMax group was for the sale of my large country home that I designed and built. The home was built at the very end of the "good years" when real estate was being bought and sold at a premium. Four years later, after the market completely crashed, I chose to sell my house. I used another realtor for awhile but I really didn't feel like I was getting good service from them. I got Jim's name from some friends at church and decided to give him the opportunity. Jim marketed my house like crazy, and was extremely professional, honest and forthcoming the entire time. In the real estate market, a lot has to do with the right person coming along at exactly the right time, but without fantastic marketing, the right person might never see your house! Jim made sure my house was highly visible and attracted that perfect buyer. I then used Jim, and his associate, Jeff Post, for the purchase of my new home. My youngest daughter then used the Jim/Jeff team to purchase a home in Amelia. My sister used their team to sell her home in Norwood and purchase another home in Springfield Township. My oldest daughter also used their team to purchase her home in Union Township. As my children were looking to purchase homes, I was with them every step along the way since they were completely new to the process. Jeff was like a father to my girls, providing his honest, professional, experienced opinion, when their emotions would steer them to a possible bad investment. I felt that they were in good hands and have since recommended Jim and Jeff to pretty much everyone I know who was house hunting. When you have high moral standards, people trust you, and I trust Jim and Jeff with my children's livelihood, which pretty much says it all.

Not much to the details, except that the were always courteous, always timely, and very helpful with things I knew little or nothing about, like hvac systems, things that might need repairs sooner than later, nearby schools, stores, etc. This is relevant to me because the first agent I was dealing with seemed to not even care.
