ZillowVERIFIED Very helpful in listing our home for sale, and then working very hard to get our home sold in a timely manner. Jim was always available to talk on the phone or meet in person to discuss home sale strategy. Would recommend Jim to anyone looking for a truthful, responsible agent to assist in the sale of their home (assume buyers would receive the same excellent service).James & DianaBoyne City, MI

ZillowVERIFIED We worked with Jim for about a year searching for the right house. During that time we felt he really listened to us and understood our wants and needs. Once we found the house, he was an excellent, knowledgeable advocate. Jim made the whole process as painless as possible. I highly recommend him.

ZillowVERIFIED Jim was amazing to work with! We were moving from downstate to beautiful Boyne City. Jim was constantly available to answer questions and his expertise and knowledge of the area is awesome! He genuinely cared about finding our family the perfect home and saved us a lot of headaches through his skilled negotiations. Working with Jim and seeing his passion made the whole experience a wonderful blessing. Not only did our family get blessed with a beautiful home, we gained a friend. Jim, thank you so much.

ZillowVERIFIED I recently worked with Jim Evans while buying a condo in East Jordan.Jim was fantastic to work with, his response time to my questions were almost immediate. Actually the day we signed the purchase agreement Jim was moving his two children down to MSU for the upcoming school year, but he was still working with us to finish up the final details.I would recommend anyone looking to buy or sell in the Boyne, East Jordan, or Charlevoix area to work with Jim.

ZillowVERIFIED Jim is with out a doubt a "best in class" broker / agent. Jim did a buy and a sell for me this year and I feel Jim put me in the best position possible on both transactions.Jim listens, and then takes the lead with solid advice.

ZillowVERIFIED Five stars does not accurately portray the service, knowledge and skills of Jim Evans; he'd receive a thousand stars if the option was available. A family member who had worked with Jim gave us a referral and put us in contact with him back in 2012 when we were ready to purchase a home in Boyne City. When we decided to sell that home and downsize, it was natural to go back to Jim for help with the sale and subsequent purchase of a new home. We had more than a few hiccups getting the closing completed on the sale of our home and Jim's dedication to getting the deal done was the glue that kept things together. We cannot express our gratitude enough for all that Jim and the folks at Pat O'Brien Real Estate have done for us. If you're looking to sell or purchase real estate and want someone who'll give it their all, go see Jim!

ZillowVERIFIED Jim was a pleasure to work with to both sell our existing cottage and to purchase a new one. We spent many months looking at homes on weekends. Jim was always available, positive and knowledgeable about the properties he showed us. Once we found the cottage we were looking for, Jim continuously followed up, suggested solutions for open issues and brought items to closure. When selling our cottage, Jim made recommendations on how to make it more saleable. Jim did not hesitate to go out and open the home up to make it more welcoming. He always responded to any question we had promptly. We would not hesitate to use or recommend Jim to anyone selling a home...At the end of the process, we felt we had gained a friend, not just a real estate professional.

ZillowVERIFIED Jim is a hard worker. He is honest and forthright. He responds to questions quickly and gets back to the client in a timely manner. Never did he ignore emails or voice messages. Even more impressive is after the sale he has been in constant contact and always there to answer questions. We recommend Jim highly.

ZillowVERIFIED Jim was incredible. From the moment I decided I wanted to purchase a home, Jim was incredibly helpful in getting all of my "ducks in a row". We looked at many houses, and when we finally found "the one", we were so prepared that we closed on the house within a month of looking at it. I know that's very quick, and I attribute that entirely to Jim's effort, knowledge of the area, and relationships with the people and banks in the community. What I think I appreciated most about Jim, however, was that it wasn't about making a sale for him. You can tell he takes great pride in finding his clients a house that works best for them now and in the future. I don't know a lot of people in the sales industry that care like that.Bottom line, when I need a realtor again, there's no one else I'm calling. I would and have recommended Jim to anyone in the market for a new home.
