ZillowVERIFIED Our Mom passed away suddenly, and she had a reverse mortgage on her home, so we were tasked with selling her home and all her belongings quickly. We found out that when there is a reverse mortgage they are not concerned with you mourning they just want their money asap. It was a tough time for us and the last thing we needed was to have to worry about selling her home. We interviewed several Real Estate Agents and they were all very nice but after careful consideration my sisters and I agreed that we wanted Jim to have the listing. He came in and spoke with us a bit before he went and looked around the house. He came back with suggestions and what he thought we should list it at. He also went over everything we would need to correct for instance the smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors etc. these are things we would not have known about. He worked with our Lawyer and handled everything. In the end the house sold for the price he told us it would sell for and I can't state enough how happy we were with him. It was a very stressful time for us and he helped us through it. I highly recommend him.

Jim worked with my siblings and me to sell my mother's 60 plus year old house in Dracut, MA. After meeting with us and seeing the home, Jim recommended a list price that factored in the price of comparable homes, the amount of work that would need to be done to the home and as well as the fact that we did not want to manage a long listing process. Within days of us getting the house ready to show, Jim had several prospective buyers through the home. We had an offer within a few days which turned in to multiple bids. Jim played an excellent advisor as we figured out how to manage multiple bids. After a few negotiations with the prospective buyer over "house age issues", we came to an agreement and closed on the house within 2 months. I would highly recommend Jim to anyone. On both occasions I was very impressed with Jim's approach, patience, strategy, and skill set. Jim is definitely an expert in his field. He knows the process inside and out, he knows the region very well, and he knows and has relationships with all the local players involved. Jim is a people person and approaches each client in a unique and custom manner. He recognizes everyone's situation is different and really works with clients to understand their needs. For example, my husband and I were looking to move, as our family had expanded and the existing house was getting too crowded. We connected with Jim on the idea of moving but were very specific on our criteria for our needs of the next house. The next move had to be the "ideal" house for us b/c we did not want to move again. We worked with Jim on all our must haves and nice to haves. We were not in a rush, but sometimes agents can be. This was not the case at all with Jim. We actually waited 2 years till we found the ideal house and the whole time Jim was patient, educational, and informative during that time. I never felt rushed or pressured. When we found our ideal house, Jim was laser focused on making this happen for us. Any issues that came up, Jim handled and was right on top of it.
