Make sure you are saving for a down payment if not already. Start working on your credit score right away. Always get prequalified before searching for a home. You do not want to search for a house first without knowing how much you potentially qualify for, as this can be disappointing if you fall in love with something you may not have full funds for or you could be selling yourself short if you qualify for more than you expected. Try not to finance anything new before buying a new home as this can negatively impact you. Decide how much you could afford and explore different mortgage options. Lastly get familiar with first time home buying programs.

Take care of your landscape it is one of the first things buyers notice when pulling up to view the property. Remove clutter you want to maximize the space you have it just feels more inviting and comfortable to the buyers. Paint interior if needed a clean fresh coat of paint can make the space look bigger, dark dreary colors can shrink the perception of the space. Consider professional cleaning as a nice clean home will welcome buyers and make them feel cozy. Make sure to repair especially if they are minor this can add value to your property. Find a great Realtor. Having a good Realtor to assist you along the way can be so beneficial and less stressful.

I just got into escrow on a land property for my client and I am so excited for them, as this land has huge potential. So far everything is going smoothly and we are 2 weeks to closing. I originally was in the customer service field and got hired by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage department. They brought me on as a customer service specialist in Home Mortgage and trained me extensively on home loans, documents and escrow. Working there I naturally gravitated towards Real Estate, wanting to learn more and more about it I got my license, and the rest is history.

I believe with my past experience working in the home mortgage industry I am able to educate my clients a little more about the loan process and the different types of loans available to them. With this educational background this is so beneficial to my clients because I am able to help navigate them in the process.
