Unfortunately, a second offer came in and, despite an improvement to our original offer, the sellers chose the second offer. Jessica asked if we wanted to enter into a backup position and negotiated that with the listing agent. To our amazement, 13 days later she called to let us know that our backup offer had been accepted. This began a process unlike the transactions on any of our previous 6 homes. Jessica seemed to anticipate all of our questions and concerns and had answers ready for us immediately. She provided property records, educated us on issues such as septic tank inspections and maintenance, provided details about neighboring properties and even provided a list of vendors for a variety of services in our new neighborhood. She accompanied us during the inspection and worked with us to write a repair addendum which saved us nearly $1,500 in repair costs. She also attended our signing and provided valuable insights and advice. We are very happy in our new home and thankful to have worked with Jessica. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for property in Oregon.
