We worked with Jessica on the purchase of our first home as a newly engaged couple and she was the glue to the whole process. We initially met her at an open house, and within minutes, she helped us focus on what we wanted in a home and we knew that she was the person to work with. Immediately following the open house, she had a zoom with us where she walked us through all of the basics of the process of buying and answered all of our very detailed questions. She is thoughtful, creative, an incredible listener, and very proactive and thorough in everything she does. She is smart, really cares about her clients, and is unique in such a saturated space. She knows how to urge you along without pushing, and is extremely responsive to any need you might have. She gives it to you straight and is honest throughout. As a Jersey City Native who has been working in the space for her entire professional life (and grew up observing her family running a real estate business), she knows the market well and managed our expectations every step of the way. She had excellent recommendations for all the other steps of the process, including recommending a multitude of loan company, options, and attorneys. She even made us a custom gift at the end, which was beyond thoughtful. If we buy another home in Jersey City, we would call Jessica in a split second. You would be lucky to work with her.

In my experience, a typical agent who didnt seem interested in addressing my concerns and appeared focused on getting the contract signed and collecting the commission. The agent was not willing to make changes to the contract and provided the standard version, explaining it was impossible to adjust. I felt pressured to sign quickly, as the agent mentioned there were many other people interested in the apartment.
