Here is a little bit about me and my back round. I was born in San Francisco and raised in the City of Pleasant Hill, California. My passion for Homes started when I was young. I would dream of owning my very own home and draw floor plans imagining what my perfect home would look like. Those were the joys of my childhood days! I started my real estate career in 2000 opening a mobile Notary signing business called About Signatures. I completed loan packages and Notarized documents for title companies for several years. In 2004 I started working for Prudential California Realty as an Escrow Coordinator. I coordinated for over seventy agents overseeing their files and guiding them threw the necessary paperwork for each transaction. With time and experience working thousands of deals, I discovered my true love in this business was problem solving and utilizing my negotiation skills with every sale! To me, there is no greater joy than handing someone the keys to their new home. I met my husband in 2010 who also shared my passion and love for real estate. We started working together combining our unique strengths to help serve our clients and became the Nelson Family Real Estate Team. In 2012 we were married and in January of 2014 we had our first child, Austin He is our little Realtor in training. In December of 2014 Prudential California Realty became Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties. We decided to stay and align ourselves with the premier choice for those seeking the highest quality, support and customer service. It has and will continue to uphold the highest levels of business ethics and personal integrity in all transactions and interactions. In 2015 we had a setback, in life and in business, when I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Still, the dedication and love I have for my job and my clients wouldn't quit. I worked through Chemo and radiation while raising a toddler with my husband. In 2018 we were surprisingly blessed with our second son Aiden. In 2020 I lost my father, a retired attorney with no trust. Being the oldest daughter I was in charge of his Estate that sent me down the path of Probate. I learned a ton and our business expanded to Probate and Trust Sales working together with Fiduciaries to help liquidate and acquire real estate assets. Currently we just expanded to Commercial Residential sales and started specializing in helping seniors downsize and relocate. I can now say I am Cancer free and live in Benicia with my beautiful sons Austin & Aiden and my awesome husband Mike. When we are not showing property, meeting with clients, or on the phone, you can find us at the beach, in Napa, or the park enjoying every minute life has to offer.
