My experience with Jennifer Haynes was terrible. The lack of effort, communication, and initiative showed by her was the worst I have ever dealt with in all my life. Besides the legal documents she prepared, I completed 100% of the work by myself or my associate. From finding the house (which I did myself on Zillow) to dealing with the lender and title company to close, the involvement of my Remax realtor was minimal at best. At one point, after the offer was submitted, accepted, and under contract, there were eight days where there was no contact with her. I had asked for well water documents for nearly three weeks as the sale contract was contingent on those recent water tests from 2020. Those documents were not provided to me until a week before the initial closing date. A review of those documents revealed very high arsenic in one of the two wells on the property. Whether that information was purposely withheld or was just a lack of effort and professionalism, it should not have happened. She stated she sent the documents but must have had an issue with her phone. I made numerous requests to show me where the attempt to send those documents was made and received no response. Finally, unsolicited, she stated that she and the selling agent would purchase a water system provided by the local water treatment company. Then, as the closing date neared, she said they would only pay a portion of the cost for the water system needed to remove the arsenic. She stated she wasnt getting that much commission from this sale and wasnt sure how much money she was willing to put toward the water system. It was my fault for sitting idle and expect that the service she was hired for was being completed. There were several instances of miscommunication between the lender and the real estate companies for which I had to initiate the conversation to get issues fixed. If I wanted something done promptly, I had to do it myself and not rely on my realtor. It didnt feel like my best interests were being considered, and the sellers and buyers were being used as excuses for lack of progress on this transaction. I even explained to her it didnt feel like she was representing me, the buyer, anymore. I reached out to the managing broker, and it didnt seem to help much. After the closing, I had a chance to speak with the seller, and he mirrored my experience with my agent. I would not recommend her.
Jennifer helped me sell my house and buy another. I never felt like she was working for me. Negotiations on both houses was a struggle after I bought my house and need her support because of information from the seller on the disclosure form was not accurate, items left out. This form is very binding if you withhold information. Every time I asked her questions she would state around the answer afraid I might sue her, I'm guessing. I wish her nothing but the best. Would I use her again, no? Very nice though.
Jennifer Haynes helped us to sell our property outside Fruitland WA. She was efficient, skillful, capable; smoothly and deftly navigating the complexities of selling a property. Her sense of humor and sunny personality made a long distance transaction work.
Jennifer had buyers for my mothers house within 3 days of listing! And everything was finalized within a month. Can't think of anything more that I could add that would tell you how quickly she worked.
I highly recommend Jennifer Haynes. She really listened and understood what we were looking for in a house. She never pushed us into anything we were not comfortable with. Jen helped make the whole buying process easier with her great attitude and advice.
