Our goal as REALTORS is to make real estate simple and to provide exceptional service every step of the way. Together, we bring the knowledge and experience needed to add real value to every transaction, whether you are buying, selling, relocating, or investing. We specialize in Northern Colorado and in Southwest Florida. We proudly work alongside each other as a mother-daughter team, and Megan Kelly is also a fully licensed real estate agent. Being strategic, organized, and purposeful allows us to successfully help more buyers and sellers each year than the average agent. We work closely with each client to understand their goals and create a plan that fits their needs. If you are interested in purchasing an investment property, we can help you evaluate options and determine what will work best for you. As investors ourselves, we offer firsthand insight and practical guidance. Quality service is very important to us. With the support of our assistant and a trusted team of contractors, we are able to provide a smooth, well-managed experience from start to finish. Whether we are representing you as a buyer's or seller's agent, our obligation is always to protect your interests and work on your behalf. If you ever have questions, just ask. We are here to help.

1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Pick your agent early. Truly. The best decisions, the strongest offers, and the smoothest transactions start long before you ever walk into a home. Early guidance on financing, strategy, timing, and market conditions can save you money and stress later.
After that, I always tell buyers:
* **Get financially prepared upfront.** Talk to a lender early, understand your true budget, and get fully pre-approved, not just pre-qualified.
* **Be clear on your must-haves vs nice-to-haves.** The more clarity you have, the faster we can find the right home.
* **Trust the market data.** It is easy to fall in love with a home, but smart decisions come from facts, not just feelings.
* **Be ready to act when the right home appears.** The best homes do not wait. Preparation gives you confidence to move quickly.
* **Stay flexible.** Inventory, competition, and interest rates shift. Flexibility opens doors.
* **Think beyond the purchase.** Consider resale value, future needs, and long-term costs, not just today.
* **Ask questions early and often.** No question is ever a bad one, and understanding the process makes it far less stressful.
Buying a home is exciting, but it is also one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll ever make. Good preparation and the right guidance change everything.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
1. Price your home correctly!
The first two weeks on the market matter most. Overpricing almost always leads to price reductions and weaker offers later. A strong, competitive price creates urgency and often results in better terms.
2. Put your best foot forward
Clean like you’re moving out tomorrow. Declutter, depersonalize, and make the home feel light and open. Fresh paint, clean carpets, and small repairs go a long way and usually cost far less than the price reductions buyers will ask for.
3. Maximize curb appeal
Buyers decide how they feel before they walk inside. Trim landscaping, power wash if needed, clean the front door, and make sure the entry feels welcoming.
4. Be strategic with staging and photos
Professional photos are non-negotiable. If the home is empty or has challenging spaces, staging can dramatically change how buyers see it and how much they’re willing to pay.
5. Be flexible with showings
The more available the home is, the more buyers it attracts. Limited access almost always hurts momentum.
6. Disclosures and prep upfront save you later
Get inspections or key reports done early when possible. Transparency builds trust and reduces last-minute surprises that derail deals.
7. Don’t just focus on price when offers come in
Look at financing strength, contingencies, timelines, and the buyer’s ability to close. The strongest offer is not always the highest number. Your agent will be a huge asset in this part of the process.
8. Trust the process and your agent’s guidance!
Emotion can get in the way of good decisions during negotiations. Lean on market data and strategy instead of reactions.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
We work with a wide range of clients across all stages of life and real estate goals, including:
* First-time homebuyers who want clear guidance and education through every step of the process
* Move-up buyers and growing families looking for more space or better locations
* Luxury buyers and sellers seeking privacy, discretion, and high-level marketing
* Relocation clients moving in or out of state who need trusted local expertise
* Investors purchasing rental properties, second homes, or short-term rentals
* Sellers ranging from starter homes to luxury estates
* Downsizers and retirees transitioning into their next phase of life
* Clients navigating life changes such as divorce, estates, or job transfers
Many of our clients come from referrals and repeat business, which speaks to the long-term relationships we build and the level of service we provide.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One of my most meaningful recent transactions was with Mike and Karen, clients I originally met in 2019. Their goal was very specific and not easy to satisfy. They wanted a unique home that balanced walkability and access to services with privacy, space from neighbors, and a true sense of community. Over the years, we explored several possibilities together, including a property near Terry Lake, an offer near Roaring Fork just as COVID shut the market down, and another home in Deerfield.
Despite the twists, delays, and changing market conditions, we stayed committed to the process. After years of searching, patience, and strategic timing, we ultimately secured a remarkable home that checked all of their boxes. What made this transaction especially rewarding was not just the successful purchase, but the relationship that grew along the way. Mike and Karen shared that they came to see me not only as their Realtor, but as a trusted friend helping guide them through an important life decision.
Their journey is a great example of how long-term commitment, clear communication, and trust can lead to the right outcome, even when the path is not straightforward.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I got started in real estate out of necessity. I purchased my first investment property, a four-plex, as a way to supplement my retirement and create long-term financial security for my family. At the time, I was facing mounting medical expenses related to caring for a special needs child, and I realized quickly that I needed to build passive income to ensure I could always provide.
After purchasing that first property, my sister and brother saw what was possible and both decided they wanted to invest in real estate as well. Helping them take their first steps into investing confirmed for me how powerful real estate can be not just as a career, but as a tool for creating stability, opportunity, and generational impact.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes. I bring a strong educational and professional foundation to every transaction. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education, which has been invaluable in helping me clearly explain the real estate process and advocate effectively for my clients.
In addition, I am a:
* Certified Negotiations Expert
* Distressed Property Expert
* Luxury Home Specialist
* Accredited Buyer’s Agent
This combination of education and specialized training allows me to serve clients at every price point with strategy, precision, and care.

We enjoyed our professional relationship with Jennifer Kelly while we were hunting for a senior community. She is down-to-earth. easy to talk to and lacks the arrogance commonly associated with real estate brokers. We are particularly grateful to her as she was the only one amongst a slew of realtors we have worked with in finding our retirement home. She is always on top of issues, and her guidance was crucial in clinching the deal for us. We remain immensely thankful to her and to her team for bringing our real estate transaction to a successful closure.
She represented a friend of mine and her and her family could not rave about her enough! I am a Broker in a different region and it is rare to hear clients give the type of reviews they have about Jennifer. Rock Star for sure!
Thank you Brad! We love great referral partners as well.
