1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
First step is to understand what amount you are qualified to purchase by working with a trusted lender (I have referrals) and obtaining a pre-qualification form. Next step is to develop an understanding of your comfort level with the payment required and make sure that you have some reserves in case there are repairs required. Then begin working with a qualified Accredited Buyer Agent who can assist in researching properties in the areas you are interested in and start looking at properties. Take your time and make sure you find the property you love and allow me to negotiate the best price possible. Perform an inspection (I have referrals) and ensure the property meets your expectations. Request repairs as needed. Have an appraisal peformed and then have the loan funded. Move in to your new dream home!
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Have a trusted agent walk through your home and make suggestions for minor or major repairs and staging. Review with your agent a comprehensive market analysis of the property to understand trends in the market and a range of pricing. Discuss with your agent what your goals are. Do you need to sell your home quickly for cash, are you able to wait for a traditional sale, can you perform reasonable repairs, are you moving out of state etc. Understand the costs of selling a home - discuss this with your agent. Once the research is done and you know your price then list the property with as many pictures as possible 30+ showing off your property. Promote your house on Facebook and other internet sites. Sell your home in record time.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?

4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I had an 85 year old client who was looking to sell her home. She was so smart and capable but it had been a while since she had sold a home. The process of selling a home is complex and has twists and turns. There is a lot of paperwork and back and forth with the buyers. I helped her fill out the required paperwork and listened to her concerns. We solved problems together. We worked through each item including required repairs and moving to her new location. In the end I was able to negotiate a more than full price cash offer that closed in about 3 weeks. She moved to her new location and gave me a five star rating. I spent a little more time with her than most transactions because she needed the support. I thoroughly enjoyed helping her through the process.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I got my license when the major real estate down-turn occurred. I saw it as an opportunity to help people who wanted to invest in real estate, including myself. I helped several people purchase small rental portfolios of properties both multi-plex and single family homes. The properties have since doubled in value and rental income are at historic highs. I enjoy finding great deals and using my CPA experience to negotiate each transaction. I enjoy helping people reach their financial and emotional goals.
