At this stage, I was impressed by how well Jenn knew the local market. I was also touched by how sensitive she was to the emotional ties involved in letting go of one's childhood home. Once I decided to sell, she put an extraordinary amount of effort into getting to know the house and preparing it for market (she even pulled weeds herself to tidy up the front yard!). She found the perfect buyers for the house. The extreme care she took with the house and her thoughtful communication made letting go of a childhood home and its memories an easier process than it would have been otherwise. Jenn even helped me clear out a closet of family items in the house when I couldn't get back before the house changed ownership. I cannot recommend Jenn highly enough. She helped us with an honest appraisal of the property (higher than we anticipated) and gave us knowledgeable advice for timing to put the townhome on the market. She staged the home with furniture to make the space lighter and more expansive. We had an offer (at virtually full price) in about a week. As a result of the buyers inspection, several items needed to be addressed and Jenn coordinated contractors to do the work; which was very helpful since we had moved from the area. The house closed with all issues addressed. I firmly believe Jenns active participation in the sale of our home was the difference in having our sold and it still being on the market given current market conditions. Having dealt with Jenn before, it never crossed our mind to use anyone else, and, as usual, she was a superwoman. We e-signed the listing docs on 3/5 and she and Rob went to work. We had not planned to sell the house when we left so it was just a house being lived in. Jenn staged everything perfectly and by the 14th photos had been taken. The first showing was on the 15th and by the 21st we had an accepted offer. All of this before we even got back to town. All we had to do was pack up and vacate.
