ZillowVERIFIEDThis was the best buying experience I have ever had. And it was solely due to Jen and John! They went above and beyond during every aspect of the deal. Especially since the property we bought is literally in the middle of nowhere. If you're buying on the western slope, you'd be crazy to use any other realtor.

ZillowVERIFIED John and Jen from Black Canyon went above and beyond what we could have ever expected. The wife and I were looking for our forever dream property. Once we found it they couldn't have made the process more easier for us. Constant communication, being extremely pro-active in getting things lined up for us to be able to not only secure a deal but close on time. If you're looking for a realtor in Western Colorado, these are the two you need to use.

She has an expert team working with her including an assistant that was in touch with us through each deadline, a thorough inspector, and a well versed handyman with reasonable quotes. She helped us in more ways than we expected we would need. Her love for finding each person the right home shines through her work.

ZillowVERIFIED Jen is amazing at her job and I was fortunate enough to work with her to find my first home! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the process of buying a house, properties in the Montrose and Delta, and negotiating. I love her welcoming personality and she is always thinking a step ahead. She answered and explained all the questions I had about terms or home ownership, and always responded promptly. I would definitely recommend Jen Stein to anyone looking to buy a home!

ZillowVERIFIED Jen did an outstanding job navigating a unique situation with our house buying process. She advocated for us when needed and kept us well-informed throughout the process. Although closing on our house took longer than expected (which was not due to Jen at all), we always felt supported by her. She was consistently honest and upfront, something we truly appreciated. My family and I highly recommend Jen and her team.

ZillowVERIFIED I had an outstanding experience working with John Stein and his team at Black Canyon Homes! Relocating from out of state can be stressful, but John and his team made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. They were incredibly thorough and dedicated, taking the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and finding the perfect place that exceeded my expectations. Their professionalism and personal attention gave me great comfort and confidence throughout the process. I couldnt have asked for a better team to guide me through such an important decision. ZillowVERIFIED Jen assisted my fiancA(C) and me in buying our first home, and did an absolutely outstanding job. She was extremely responsive, always made time to speak with us and explain different aspects of the purchasing process. If she didn't have an answer to something, she would say so, figure it out, and get back to us with an answer. I felt as though she was always in our corner and continuously advocated for our best interests. We were really blessed and lucky to have found her!

ZillowVERIFIED John Stein at Black Canyon Homes went above and beyond helping us work through the purchase of a great mountain home in Ouray County, CO. Without him, the deal would have likely fallen apart, but now, we have the best views anywhere and John is a welcome friend anytime on the deck to watch an amazing sunset.

ZillowVERIFIED Jen was fantastic, patient, responsive and helped us find our dream property. We knew we wanted property in Crested Butte, Colorado but were not sure if we wanted a place in town or on the mountain, if we wanted to build or buy a place. Jen showed us numerous properties and homes. We waited several months to make a decision and Jen kept in touch but never put any pressure on us to close the deal. She was great to work with, we highly recommend Jen.

ZillowVERIFIED Jen and the Black Canyon team were fantastic in supporting us in our fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants search for a homestead. They had us covered across the entire state of Colorado. You won't often find agents willing to cross acres of poison ivy and up mountains to get you into your dream property - Jen was eager to ensure we had a great experience. We had complications in our transaction with the entire county being shut down for a cyber attack. We faced a delay from title, and loss of our rate-lock during a crazy market - with huge financial consequences. Jen managed to work literal magic, identify a new title company, and got us to close on time. We're thrilled with the job she was able to do making this all come together! Thank you, Jen!!!
