FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
The best advice I can give a buyer is to slow down just enough to be strategic. Get clear on your numbers early, including payment comfort, not just pre-approval. Understand what matters most to you in a home versus what you’re willing to compromise on, because no home checks every box.
In today’s market, preparation beats speed. Buyers who win are the ones who understand local pricing, know when a home is positioned well, and structure clean offers that make sense for the seller, not just the buyer. That means knowing when to be aggressive, when to protect yourself, and when to walk away.
Most importantly, work with someone who studies the local market daily and can explain the trade-offs clearly. The right guidance helps you avoid emotional decisions, protect your long-term investment, and move forward with confidence, whether you’re buying your first home or your fifth.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
The biggest piece of advice I give sellers is to price and prepare your home based on today’s market, not yesterday’s headlines or last year’s results. Buyers are still active, but they’re more selective, and homes that are positioned correctly from day one get the strongest response.
Presentation matters more than ever. Clean, staged, well-photographed homes that are priced realistically tend to sell faster and with better terms. Waiting to “test” a higher price often costs sellers time, momentum, and negotiating power.
Finally, have a clear plan before you list. That includes understanding likely days on market, potential concessions, and how to adjust if activity slows. The goal isn’t just to sell, it’s to net the most money with the fewest surprises. The right strategy and strong local guidance make all the difference.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve worked with a wide range of buyers and sellers across the Denver metro area and the Front Range. That includes first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers selling and buying at the same time, downsizers, and families relocating within or to Colorado.
I also work with experienced buyers and sellers who’ve been through the process before but want clearer guidance, better strategy, and a smoother experience. On the investment side, I’ve helped clients evaluate and purchase rental properties, second homes, and long-term holds.
No matter the situation, my focus is on educating clients, setting clear expectations, and helping them make confident decisions based on local market data, not pressure or hype.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One transaction that stands out involved clients who had already relocated out of state and needed their home sold back in Colorado. Timing, communication, and trust were everything. We had one clear shot to get it right.
We focused on strong preparation up front, realistic pricing, and a tight launch strategy. That created early momentum, solid buyer interest, and multiple conversations right away. From there, it was about negotiation and protecting the sellers’ bottom line while keeping the deal clean.
The home sold with strong terms, minimal stress for the sellers, and no surprises along the way. What I appreciated most was how calm and confident the clients felt throughout the process. That’s always the goal, especially when someone is relying on you from hundreds of miles away.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I got started in real estate after realizing how much guidance people truly need when making big financial and life decisions around housing. I was drawn to the fact that real estate sits at the intersection of numbers, strategy, and relationships, and that doing it well requires far more than just unlocking doors.
Early on, I focused on learning the market from the ground up, studying contracts, negotiation, pricing, and local trends, while working closely with clients to understand what actually mattered to them. Over time, that turned into a more intentional, education-first approach where my role is to help people make confident decisions, not rushed ones.
What’s kept me in real estate is simple. Every transaction is different, every client’s situation is personal, and when it’s done right, the impact lasts well beyond the closing table.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes. I’ve completed advanced training in pricing strategy, negotiation, contract analysis, and local market evaluation, all of which directly affect how well my clients are positioned during a transaction.
I hold the Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Certified Real Estate Negotiator (CREN), and Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) certifications. This training allows me to price homes accurately, interpret market data clearly, and negotiate effectively in both competitive and shifting markets. I also stay current on contract updates and local market trends so clients can make informed decisions with confidence.
For clients, that means clearer strategy, fewer surprises, and stronger outcomes, whether they’re buying, selling, or investing.
