ZillowVERIFIED Jeff was an absolute professional in the sale of my Ely house of 23 years. Although I had bought several houses, this was my first time to sell a house. Jeff very patiently walked me through every step of the process. As the house was over 100 years old, there were a number of checklist items to work through, both with inspections, and city requirements. He worked with me on every item, to make sure all was eventually completed. Jeff never hesitated to take my calls, and patiently answered any questions or concerns that I presented. Jeff managed to find the absolute perfect buyer for my house, which even alleviated some of the emotional feelings about losing a dear place in this great town. I would highly recommend Jeff and his team at Bear Island Realty. I will not hesitate to use them again on my next Ely area housing transaction, and I recommend you do the same!

My husband and I are very pleased! We couldn't be happier with Jeff's determination and communication through our real estate purchase. We purchased 40 acres of pristine land with a beautiful cabin. He came across this place while we were looking at another property, just north of it actually. We were working with Jeff on buying that 20 acres when he was called by the property owner to the south, that he was wanting to sell their 40. He was quick to getting on the phone to call us about this opportunity! He said, "if you can swing this, you will be very happy, you won't be disappointed!" We dropped the 20 acre property that we had been going back and forth on negotiations with the seller, and jumped on this new property. ZillowVERIFIED Jeff Hway is your man! He went above and beyond for us and he will for you too. When my wife was offered a job in Ely we needed to find a new place to call home. We asked friends that lived in the area and Jeff was highly recommend. We were moving from Mpls and time to come up and look for real estate was limited and of the essence. Jeff was great at keeping us informed of listings and always fitting us in with the time we had. He was more then accommodating and always prepared with not only knowledge of the property but of the surrounding area as well. His honest, trustworthy and nothing hidden personality made making one of the biggest decisions of our life comforting and easy. I would recommend Jeff to even my own Mother as we did when he helped my in-laws also purchase property in Ely.

Jeff worked as dual agent to both buyer and seller and I believe he represented both sides very well. We submitted a purchase agreement on 06/30/2015 and closed on 07/29/2015. We had been looking at a lot of different properties over 4 years and when we finally sat down with Jeff, described what our requirements were, he said I think I have just the place for you. We went out and looked at the property and made an offer that day.
