About Jeff Gaffney

CEO I am the Chairman and CEO of Real Estate III -one of the the largest brokerage firms in Central Virginia. Our firm has been a leader in the marketplace since 1972. We were founded by Frank Kessler (my late father in law) who was one of "the Titans" of the Charlottesville real estate industry. I specialize in selling Luxury Properties, but also sell homes in all price ranges. I am happily married and have 4 great children. We reside in Glenmore and I enjoy coaching youth sports, UVa sports, and activley participating in our church - St. Thomas Aquinas. I graduated in 1987 from UVa with a degree in economics.

He knows a lot about Charlottesville and the builders here. He was patient and answered all of our questions or found the answers. I would strongly recommend him for assistance in buying a home! His colleague Sarah Collier was outstanding. We felt very comfortable with her as well. They were both very responsive and made suggestions where needed and never pushy. Living in Penn. I had to help my sister sell her house and move into a retirement community. Jeff was very helpful in getting the ball rolling. He was able to recommend several things we could do to get the house on the market. The amazing thing was that once we got it on the market, the house sold in one day!!! Jeff was also able to handle a lot of the paperwork for me because of the distance. It really went smooth. If we had to do it again, Jeff would be our man!
