About Jeff Casterline

Jeff is a founding partner of Beach Realty Group (BRG), the #1 independent real estate brokerage in the Myrtle Beach area. Born in Port Huron, Michigan and raised in Jensen Beach, Florida, he has had one foot in the sand the majority of his life. After attending high school in Greensboro, North Carolina, Jeff earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he met his wife, Caryn. After earning experience in the Mortgage industry, Jeff realized his passion was in real estate. Acquiring both his North and South Carolina Real Estate Broker Licenses in 2004, he moved to Myrtle Beach. Jeff and Caryn married in Myrtle Beach in 2006, and soon after, they rescued a Boxer, Molly Wigglebutts, and are proud to say she is now very happy and healthy. The couple was then blessed with their first child in 2009, a beautiful baby girl named Riley Marie, who is truly a Daddy's Girl. In 2011, Harrison James was born, a bouncy baby Mama's Boy! Jeff and his family are proud Myrtle Beach Locals now, and have settled into the low country lifestyle. In the warmer moAnths, they can be found carting everything down to the beach to spend the day on the sand, and grilling out the local fare with friends. The family attends Trinity Episcopal Church in Myrtle Beach. If Jeff isn't busy working, you can find him on the softball field, or in a local watering hole having his heart broken by one Michigan sports team or another. Jeff enjoys playing golf and attending almost any kind of live music event. He is an advocate for Carolina Boxer Rescue and the March of Dimes, participating in many fundraisers for both organizations each year. Jeff was a RE/MAX agent for five years, and proudly formed Beach Realty Group with his good friend Darren Woodard in early 2011. His primary areas of focus are high end homes and condos, land, and distressed properties. He is a licensed real estate broker in South Carolina and North Carolina, with designations including Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR).

My husband and I first met Krista Knight back in 2016. At the time we were looking for a realtor in the Myrtle Beach area to help us find property for a future move. We currently live in Pennsylvania. Krista was extremely patient with us; for, we did not end up purchasing land until 2018. Each time we made a trip down to Myrtle Beach, Krista made herself available to take us around to look at property. We were actually on vacation when we came across a new listing that was perfect for us. Krista immediately reached out to the realtor and started negotiations. She made the process very easy for us even though we were out of state and could not physically attend the closing. I dont think this process couldve gone any smoother. Fast forward to 2023 when my husband and I decided to consider a different part of South Carolina and no longer wanted to reside in Myrtle Beach. It was definitely a no-brainer on who we would ask to list our property. Krista Knight immediately began to work on it. I will have to admit that I was disappointed that we were selling the Myrtle Beach property because I felt like we had made a friend with Krista and her husband, Josh (also an Amazing Realtor). Krista took no short cuts with professional photos and a professional, prompt listing. Before I we knew it, she had it on the market and was scheduling showings. Everything moved very quickly. It wasnt too long after the property was listed, Krista called me to tell me that we had an incredible, dream offer! We were extremely happy with the offer, and we accepted it. Again, the process was almost too easy to be true. Not only did she tell us what we needed to do step-by-step, Krista would follow up to make sure that we didnt have any questions or any difficulties. In fact, we were working with another realtor in a different part of South Carolina, and it was a completely different relationship and experience than what we had with Krista. This is why I would not hesitate to recommend Krista Knight to help you buy or sell your property or home. She is very knowledgeable, patient, an amazing negotiator, and reliable! You wont be sorry!
