We were pretty broken up about it but literally that same night Jeanne had us viewing another house. We ended up making an offer. We're literally already on board with making this offer at asking price and she says no, you should go under. OK I think. That's ballsy in this crazy market but sure she knows best. Next day she calls us again and says, says NO. She did more research and we should go yet another several thousand under THAT. And you know what? She was right. I'm sitting in that house right now. It was literally against her interests to talk us into offering lower but she's just a good agent looking to get you an honest deal.

We met Jeanne, and she was an angel from the beginning.She was always prepared with print outs of what we were going to see, in which order. I still remember I had a flight to London on Sunday evening, and had only couple of hours to look at shorthills properties. In shorthills, properties don't wait for a week for me to come back. She made a list, and we looked at 5 properties in less than 2 hours, and we never felt rushed. That was just one example. We have known her for over a year now, and I can say my whole family likes Jeanne. Our 3 yr old son was very fond of her as well. I would highly recommend Jeanne for her professionalism, and knowledge of the market. She would respond to my emails late at night, draw up contracts over a weekend.Her knowledge of local market comes in handy, as we browsed through Livinginston and other neighborhoods. Her insight and analysis was always spot on and backed by facts and comp data. She never peddled that she wouldn't buy herself.you tell her your requirements once, and she remembers it forever. Each weekend wed go out together to look at houses; Jeanne helped us get to the houses we wanted to see (we looked at hundreds online, and nearly 100 in person). She pointed out the benefits of the location, spotted deficiencies in houses (twice she called our attention to fire damage in the home that wed missed), and she was patient when we wanted to visit a house for a 2nd or 3rd time aEUR" even houses we couldnt bring ourselves to purchase. We searched thoroughly in Berkeley Heights, Basking Ridge, Bernardsville, Warren, and Watchung, and even looked up in Chester and Mendham. What we can say in hindsight is that we didnt get the exact thing we wanted; it doesnt really exist (at least, not at our price point). The benefit of hindsight is that Jeanne helped us get a great home. 1 year later, were in a place thats right for us aEUR" and thats the kind of outcome that one wants from their agent.

ZillowVERIFIED We bought and sold two homes in the tri-state area before and sort of know the ins and outs of buying a home. Having an effective and accessible agent makes the process so much less painful. We read overwhelmingly positive reviews on zillow/elsewhere and decided to go with Jeanne. We seen about 7 homes in Bernardsville, Bridgewater and Branchburg area over a few weeknights and weekends. Nothing really stands out until the one shown up on GSMLS. Jeanne sent us the listing early in the morning the day it was posted. Once we seen the pictures Jeanne set up a meeting for us the same day after work. The house is everything we ever wanted. Knowing this area, the house would not last long. 12 hours later the offer at asking price were placed and accepted on the following day. We were also introduced to the attorney (Jennifer K. Butler) Jeanne has worked with extensively. All and all everyone on our team were on the ball turning around all documents in record time. Despite the new regulation in closing procedure, everyone on our side are optimistic that we can close 7 weeks after the offer was accepted. The sellers were not as cooperative, insisted on proceeding without proper permits for major renovations performed over years. At one point, they refused follow up inspections for plausible chimney and drainage issues, we were getting so fed up and were so close to walk away from it. Jeanne remained steadfast and diplomatic in handling and meeting our requests. We closed on time! All said and done, this would not have happened without Jeanne's utmost dedication and diligence to her clients. We wholeheartedly recommend Jeanne and her team to anyone who's looking for a home in this area.
