Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Get pre-approved for a mortgage first.

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

First impressions are most important! You only have one chance to make a first impression.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

Young clients, 21 years old, to older clients, 80+. From all walks of life.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

I was going to mention one that involved a family member. But it was truly no different than any of the others; I treat all clients like family, in the same manner I would like to be treated.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

My late friend, MiMi Datchuk became a Realtor in 2003 and encouraged me to join her in her profession.

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

I'm a Homes of Distinction expert, and can offer advice to owners of any home. Every home is distinct!

Jean was our agent when we bought our home in 2014. We referred her to our daughter when she was house hunting earlier this year. She knows our city and its people, was always available and responsive, and helped us both find the perfect homes.

Jean has always been extremely responsive to our request to see a home. She comes to the appointment prepared. Is knowledgeable about the property and always explains the process as we look at homes and discuss next steps. I find her very professional and an excellent representative of her trade.

Jean has always done an outstanding job .She has helped me sale homes and buy homes. Anyone that I have sent to her to help buy or sale there home have also been very happy for the outstanding job she did. If you are looking to sale or buy that dream home , Jean Cook will be there for from beginning or until the end when you buy or sale your home. She is a in my book. Thanks Dale Seginak.

I couldn't have asked for a better realtor than Jean. She was always there to answer any questions and if she didn't know she found out. She not only sold my house for me but she also found the one I'm living in now. I had other realtors that didn't even come close to doing what Jean did. I would recommend her to anyone.

Jean went above and beyond for us. We moved to Ohio from Georgia. As you know, it's difficult to move out of state. Jean made the transition very easy. Everything was done in a timely fashion & she was very accomadating.

Jean helped my husband and I with our first home purchase 7 years ago. We had been looking for several months and weren't especially happy with our previous experiences when someone referred us to her. Once we found our home, she made everything go smoothly. We were so happy with her excellent service, we asked her to help my mom find a condo close to us last year. She was patient and listened to our needs. We had a limited amount of time, and she was able to help us find the perfect place! I would highly recommend Jean Cook.

Jean has represented me as both a buyer and seller of real estate in the Mahoning Valley. As a real estate investor, I now use her exclusively for all my transactions. She is familiar with the local real estate market and is very easy to deal with as she is not a typical "high pressure" agent. I Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a house in the Mahoning valley.

We love jean. She is very honest about property's. If there is something negative she lets you know, even with bad neighborhoods. She does no try to make a sale she just shows you the good and bad. She is also a very responsive communicator and very down to earth!
