Jay was that guardian angel for us ! He is highly well informed about the entire Home buying process and can provide correct inputs for every bits and pieces. As a first time Home buyer I was finding things difficult to understand at times and Jay made sure that I do not miss anything. And his Patience in this is matchless ! Just after the first meeting he understood what we were looking in a house that we plan to purchase and next time onwards he suggested properties that exactly matched our requirements. He is very very clear in identifying what the customer needs. He also helped us in ruling out any property that won't match our needs and thereby saving a lot of time and effort. In couple of occasions we insisted on seeing properties that he suggested not to go for and at the end his viewpoint was correct :). His market study about the correct price of the house is spot on ! . If he finds a listed house price to be unreasonable, he outrightly suggests not to go for it and it can save you a lot of money. On many occasions he was bang on and the houses got sold for a much lesser price. Due to his pin-pointed choices for the kind of house we were looking for, we were able to find one in 10 days time. He was very accurate in suggesting what price we should bid for and we got our house in the 2nd bid itself :) Even after the purchase, he stays with you for the entire process and helps / suggests with anything and everything that you need in setting up your house. As per his own words 'The real Buyer-Agent relationship starts only after purchasing the house' and he proves with every interaction you have with him after purchasing the house. We started the discussions in the month of Mar'2020, got the house staged, and had to undo the staging because of the county's stay-at-home orders just before we were planning to go live in the market. He has been there with us throughout the process and is like a family to us now. He gave us honest advice on each property we saw and never rushed us to make the purchase. ZillowVERIFIED We were referred to Jay by a friend of mine who used his services for buying their home. And it did not take us long to realize why he was recommended. Before Jay, I was talking to a couple of other agents but was never confident about their quality of services. They were of the mode - "You can find the listings on online and I can help you make the offer". Well, why would I need their services. When we first met him, he walked us through the entire process of buying home: from pre-approval to getting the keys and moving in. This was very helpful for first time buyer. And to make things very helpful for us, we did submit a "sample" offer on a property to "get a feel" of what it takes. Given our budget, lot-size, built-up area, number of rooms, school rating and various other constraints, he was very helpful shortlisting the right homes for us for seeing them. Being an investor himself (earlier), he could see through the property and give us insights that we could never have thought about - right from the possible issues in the construction to all the money & time needed for an upgrade in a not-ready-to-move-in house. After about 8 weeks, over 50 houses seen and half a dozen offers made, we were able to find the right home for us. Our offer was accepted even before it could go for the open house. Not only that, we got it over $25k lower than the seller's target sale price and well within our budget. The icing on the cake was that the home was ready to move in. There was not an iota of work required to make the move. Everything was optional and only to suit our taste. Secret insight - I had withdrawn from the offer made only to want the home again after a week. And he ensured that he talked to the seller personally and explained our reasons for the retreat from the offer. And hurray, we got the home. He is one person that you would always want on your side.

I couldn't recommend more working with Jay for anyone interested in buying a house in the Bay Area. We were introduced to Jay by one of our friends who had recently worked with Jay. When we first started our search we had a very limited understanding of the process and of the house market. From our very first meeting it was apparent that Jay was exactly what we were looking for. He took the time, almost 3 hours, to patiently explain each step of the process and answer all of our questions. He gave us a great overview of the process so that we knew what to expect and made both of us feel that we had a great partner who would have our best interest in mind. What I really liked in Jay is his flexibility and responsiveness. He was very accommodating and showed us a large number of houses working off of our schedule. He presented houses based on our needs and preferences in various areas to help us truly understand our priorities and further calibrate our search. He was available to talk at any time, including nights and weekends and he was available to meet within the same day with very limited notice. Jay always followed up with action items based on our conversations and helped us find our home in less than three months. Jay even introduced us to various lenders so that we could choose the one that better worked for our needs but he also personally helped us navigate the offer and closing stages. Jay was with us during closing and provided us with very helpful recommendations and advice from his past experience. Having gone through the process, we now realize how many things we didn't know and how many mistakes we would have made if we didn't have Jay's support. He is a genuinely nice person to work with and I feel fortunate that he was on our side during this stressful process! I highly recommend Jay especially to any first time home buyers like ourselves!

From start to finish of the process, he was always available on the first phone call (sometimes late in the evening). Now I am a proud owner of a beautiful property in a beautiful neighborhood. The following are some of the key qualities of Jay that made me write this review. - He will go above and beyond to get you a home rather than just getting a house and close the deal. - He will openly share all the trade secrets to explain why to or not to buy a particular property. In my case he asked me not to go for a few houses I liked, pointing out the problems. He has the vision to foresee problems that can occur in 10-15 years of buying the property or when selling the home. - He will not rush you to buy a property. Even when I wanted to close a deal quickly, he stopped me and explained me why the property is not right for me. After a few days of working with him, I learnt a lot of tricks of the trade and I started looking at homes in a whole new way. Now I have become a consultant for my friends who are looking to buy a home. Also he will not let you over pay for a property even if you say so. He knows exactly what a property is worth. - Jay will be there in every step of buying a property from finding the property, taking you to open houses, doing all the research about the property, documentation and transferring the title to your name. He doesn't stop there. Even after a month of closing the deal, he still calls me regularly and asking whether he can do anything to help me. It makes us feel like he is a part of the family now. I can keep writing about him and this page may not be enough to do that. In short all I can say is, once you go to Jay to get you a home, the next thing you have to worry about is moving to the new property. He will take care of everything in between.

ZillowVERIFIED Jay is a wonderful person to work with! Last year he helped us sell our old home. With that experience, we went back to him again for buying our new home. We are extremely happy that we did! He is very diligent in following up with the other parties exactly at the right moment when we needed it. Not in one, but in many occasions, we would have been thinking in the morning that we needed an update from the seller or sellers agent regarding the progress, we wouldnt have asked Jay anything about that, but that same evening an unexpected text message would arrive from him providing us the very update we thought we needed early that morning. We dont know how does that, but he does! How is that for being in the same wavelength as your client!
