Jason first made contact with us after we had tried to sell our condominium for 3 months and then took it off the market. He wrote us a letter telling us that our property should have sold, giving us reasons why and telling us what he would have done or would do if we listed with him. We had originally listed it with a realtor who said things like "open houses don't work for properties like this". He also kept suggesting that we should drop the price when other similar condos had recently been sold in the price range we were looking for. We rented out our condo, but after the renters gave early notice, we decided to try to sell again. We reread Jason's letter and met with him and were impressed with his suggestions and realistic outlook. When he showed our place, he gave us prompt feedback and encouraged us to stay the course. He also advised on "staging" and alterations to help our unit sell. And finally, when we were out of the country on a 2-week holiday, he sold it for more than we had asked (which was higher again than the amount we had asked the first time)! He kept us advised by e-mail and phone during our holiday and we felt very confident that he was doing everything possible to sell it for us. We have since recommended Jason to acquaintances wanting to buy because we were sure that they would receive the best possible service. It should also go without saying that if we were buying or selling in the future, we would definitely take advantage of Jason's services again - he is definitely the best realtor we have ever met.
