Jason ventured out numerous times to walk through houses that we had found and houses he suggested for us. Each time we managed to narrow down what we wanted/needed in a home. This was incredibly important for us that Jason was patient in our search especially early on when we had not clearly decided on many variables in a home.When we found our home we knew we had to move fast because houses were selling quickly. Jason, being a reasonable human, had a vacation scheduled when we wanted to make an offer. ZillowVERIFIED We sold a house with Jason and bought a condo for my mother. In the selling of my moms house, Jason had great background knowledge of the area and what other houses were going for. He did 9 showings of the house the first week and we were able to sell it in two weeks after it had been on the market. In the buying of the condo, Jason did a lot research on the rules and regulations of that particular condo association, made sure the owners had been paying the taxes and other bills , because it had been empty for a few years, and was helpful with the inspections and final details. I think the thing that I appreciated most was how he treated my 85 year old mother who had no idea how this process was going to unfold. He spoke clearly and directly to her and told her things in words she could understand. One time he even wrote some things out for her to be sure she knew what to do. He was very kind and helpful in this whole process.

The Veenstra Team went far above and beyond.We moved into the area and didnt know what to expect about the area, homes, pricing, etc. The Veenstra team made us feel we were their top priority and made the home buying process easy, exciting, and fun.We had some delays in our closing (bank issues) and the Veenstra Team got us into our home despite these issues by essentially being on call for 24 hours. The Veenstra team was great about keeping us informed and making us feel at ease through the entire process. Beginning in the fall of 2008 we looked at a number of homes only to realize we wanted to wait until the following spring to continue. Jason was extremely patient with us and really took care to listen to both our criteria, which was not an easy task as my husband and I had two very different ideas about what we wanted. Not only that, but when we picked up our search in the spring of 2009 we had only a few short weeks to buy a home and qualify for the first time home buyer tax credit. Just in time, he found us the perfect compromise and negotiated a great price in a time crunch! It has been the perfect home for our young family in a great neighborhood.
