I just sold a home for a client that was going to give the house back to the bank because he went through a divorce in the middle of his remodel and couldn't afford to finish it. He couldn't do a shortsale because his ex-wife would not participate so we put it on the market for the minimum amount that would get him out of it and not have to do a shortsale. We were able to find a buyer what was willing to do the minimal work to satisfy his bank to give him the loan and we had a successful closing giving the buyers a chance to gain some sweat equity and the buyer was able to move on without a scratch on his credit and could finally move on with his life. I was bouncing from job to job looking for something I really enjoyed to make a career out of and one of my boss's kept telling me I would be great at real estate so after a couple years of this I decided to talk to one of the leading agents in my area. Once I met with him I had the chance to see what real estate was all about (helping people) I was hooked and swore I was going to make this my career.
