Make sure what ever agent you use is willing to put the money into your house that you are. Professional photography makes all the difference, proper Facebook and social media advertising is a must now a days (Just posting a just listed this house on their personal page doesn't count. There are amazing ways with in social media to target people that are likely to buy your house and few agents learn how to do it), if it's a large house then get an actual 3d tour (look up matterport). Gone are the days of people showing up at the local office wanting to see what houses are for sale in the area. Make sure your agent has adapted and puts their money and time where their mouth is.
