The virtual staging and the drone video showing the 1/3 mile driveway and 5 acres of land was beautiful! His video walking tour was great, showing many features of the house, which may not have come across as well in photos! Whether you are purchasing your first home, upgrading to a larger space or downsizing, the home buying and selling process can be an emotional roller coaster. The right agent can alleviate most of that stress. Real estate agents are a dime a dozen, everyone has a friend, relative or family member in the business who they recommend. The interview process can be time consuming and frustrating when most agents respond with what they think you want to hear. After multiple interviews and increased frustration, we were fortunate to have another realtor recommend Jason Arcuri. I knew he was the right agent for the job after just 10 minutes into our conversation. Jason has the market knowledge, negotiation skills and attention to detail to help you find the right fit. We toured multiple homes before we found our home and Jason pointed out the potential issues and concerns within each one, such as one homes poor DIY electrical wiring jobs. Once we found our home, from our offer to closing, Jason navigated the process for us and made it quick and painless. We can not relate to the people who say that the home buying process was stressful and they are glad its over. On the contrary, we are happy to have found our home but have mixed emotions about no longer house hunting with Jason. What we mostly appreciate about Jason is that he immediately understood what we wanted and when we looked at various houses, we were all on the same page (whether it was for or against). When we walked houses and discussed renovations, his experience proved especially helpful when helping us understand the reality of the scope of any work (e.g. the complexity with potentially gutting a bathroom) and ball parking costs. Additionally, my wife and I not being from CT, took great comfort in his realistic knowledge of housing prices and trends, responsiveness to our phone calls during the week (since we were only in CT on weekends while looking), knowledge of legal process for buying homes in CT and related CT law in general was extremely helpful for us. Although he knew how much the bank approved us for, he never pushed us to get something higher than what we wanted. He is very quick to respond to emails, texts and phone calls and that's very essential when buying/selling/renting a property. He represented both the buyers and the sellers but we never felt any impartiality, he was always fair and reasonable.
