We've moved more than we've stayed most places, but when we decided to relocate to Athens, we knew we'd be here for the long haul and so, we were especially concerned about picking the "right" house--the "right" neighborhood, layout, price point, etc. Jarrett nailed it with the house, which we're coming to love more each day. Indeed, it's the first place I've lived (and gosh, I've lived in so many different places) that I've ever imagined truly settling in and making home. Jarrett helped made this possible, showing us a wide array of houses in the brief few days we had to make this happen, helping us run the numbers, connecting us with contractors, and later negotiating reasonable terms on our behalf. I emphasize these points, in particular, because a house is a not just an emotional investment but a pretty hefty financial one. To the end, Jarrett's knowledge of the comps within different neighborhoods and ballpark prices for different renovations not only impressed us but allowed us to leave every house we visited with a clear sense if the investment was worthwhile. To top it off, he's a genuinely agreeable human with impeccable taste, who's fun to spend time with. We couldn't recommend him more.
