When I returned to Maine to perform most of this work, Janna was exceptionally helpful recommending home improvement actions, paint colors, and contractors. Her suggestion of preinspection was particularly beneficial. Janna was easy to work with; she provided suggestions and opinions but never insisted we take a particular course of action. She was committed and ready to work with us from the beginning and did not stop working until we closed. In fact, when an HVAC issue cropped up at the last minute, she convinced the buyers to trust our assurance we would get the issue fixed (which it was) and proceed with closing as scheduled! ZillowVERIFIED As someone who has been a real estate agent in the past, I wanted to hire someone who didn't just have a large number of listings. I wanted a true professional, who had the skill to SELL our listing for as much as possible and in the least amount of time. Janna came out and spoke with us after we called her. She didn't just talk. She LISTENED to us. We told her what we thought was important for her to know about our property and what we wanted in a new home. I will make a short story shorter. Because of Janna's skilled marketing efforts, we were able to sell our home in just 10 days! That's only part of it. Not only was it sold quickly, but we had 2 offers on the property the first weekend it was shown and both were ABOVE the listing price! Did I mention that our house was in a price category that was moving VERY slowly? Janna priced our home perfectly and sold it quickly and efficiently.On the purchase side, Janna showed incredible negotiating skill. We found the house we wanted, made a low offer that we didn't expect a counter to and because Janna knows the value of silence as much as talking, we were able to buy the house on our first offer. There's no substitute for negotiating instincts.Personally, I think Janna should take her skill to a large metropolitan area with vast suburbs. She'd make a fortune as sophisticated as she is. If I were someone looking for an agent to buy or sell, I'd drop what I'm doing and call Janna before she takes my advice about finding a more lucrative environment.

ZillowVERIFIED If you need a relator in the NH/ME Seacoast area you cant go wrong with Team Syrene in York ME. John & Janna Syrene could not have been more helpful and accommodating to picky buyers like we were. We put in offers on 4 houses and backed out of the first 3 due to various reasons and they never lost patience. The really working for our best interest not just a commission check. In todays market it seems most relators depend on automated systems to post listings and make sales and most rarely even return phone calls, not so with John & Janna, they returned phone calls and emails right away and kept us posted through the whole process. Even the support services for mortgage brokers and home inspection were 100 % on their game. Team Syrene made what can be a stressful process a pleasure for us, if we do this again they will be our first call.
