We were on a tight timeframe. At the outset she laid out exactly how she would be presenting the house. We were always prompted as to what was coming up next and what was needed from us. Once the house was listed a showing was scheduled within days and an offer was made the same day. Negotiations over inspection and closing issues were discussed, handled by her, and resolved readily and the house was sold. ZillowLong before the property went on market Janet had customers lined up. She gave me expert advice to get the highest market value for the property. The very morning it went on the market we had several offers and the very first one was for the full amount of the listing with no assist for closing. I was immensely impressed with her realty skills and knowledge. Then, when we had some improvements to make she contacted capable contractors to do the work at very reasonable prices and it was quickly done to meet requirements of the sale. This is a good team.

ZillowWe were living in Harris Ranch and decided we wanted a more urban living experience. We consulted with Janet before putting our 10-year-old house on the market. Obviously, she thoroughly inspected our house inside and out and talked with us at length about our experience with the house and what we thought we should get in a sale. Then she did an extensive review of the market and, of course, the comparables. She made great suggestions on how we should showcase our house for sale. Knowing our needs for a new residence, Janet pointed us toward the Waterfront District and recommended a builder with extensive experience there and elsewhere in Ada County. She and her team were present and engaged in all our meetings with the new builder and saw to it that everything was the way it should be.Then, after five days on the market, our Harris Ranch house sold and Janet took the trouble to help us find temporary quarters -- taking care to find such accommodations that would suit our needs and our lifestyle.We had many meetings with the builder and Janet and members of her team were there with us all the way, significantly, pointing out things we missed in the negotiations and the planning.She was with us at the settlement of our Harris Ranch sale and she was with us at the closing of our new home when we finally were able to take possession.One of the last things Janet did in this lengthy association was present me and my wife with a gift certificate to a great restaurant. ZillowJanet Parsons is the worst agent I have ever come across. I would not recommend using her to list a home or purchase a home. She is thoroughly unprepared, unprofessional, difficult to work with, and uncommunicative.As an example, through the course of selling my home with her, she was an extremely poor negotiator, failed to follow my instructions during the negotiation, failed to document my requests, and committed to covering the cost of repairs requested by the buyers. Janet Parsons agreed to cover the cost of repairs requested by the buyers, coordinated with a contractor for the repairs, and then held off paying the most expensive repair until after closing and claimed I was responsible for the cost. Also, in an attempt to complete the deal, she coordinated repairs to the home I did not authorize.I would not recommend her to anyone.
