Janet Borden and her team are simply awesome!!! We interviewed several real estate brokers when selling our Highland Park, IL, home in late 2021, and narrowed it down to two brokers, both of whom seemed very qualified. One was quite conservative and recommended a selling price that I thought was aEURoereasonableaEUR?. Janet came in, looked around, suggested a few changes, rearranged the furniture a bit in several rooms, and said she thought the home would sell quickly at a 25% higher price than the other broker. We thought about it and retained Janet and her team. Her friendliness, common sense, responsiveness and aEURoecan doaEUR? attitude, in addition to knowing the market in detail on the North Shore, sold us. The first day on the market, we had three offers. We did not accept those offers at Janets advice, but waited about a week longer and accepted an essentially full price offer. Janet held our hands during the closing process and always was there to answer questions. We eventually closed and give all aEURoeglory and praiseaEUR? to Janet Borden and her team. Kim was awesome! We moved to Chicago from out of state, and she did a great job getting to understand our preferences and needs and suggesting the best neighborhoods for our purposes. She was open and clear about pricing options and able to recommend properties that fell within our price range with maximum features aligning with our asks. Kim was very active in preparing us for our trip to tour homes, providing us with a strong portfolio of options to consider in advance. Simply wow. Kim from the very beginning of our condo search was incredibly kind, patient and knowledgeable. We threw every question in the book at her being first-time home buyers and on top of that, a military family utilizing a VA loan. Whenever questions arose Kim immediately met us with information and contacts to gain further insight. When touring potential places not only was searching with Kim so much fun but she gathered all the nitty gritty details from listing agents that we would not even know to ask.
