She was very flexible with our timeline to get the house on the market. They Team Pelosi handled every step of the sale of my house with ease, and in the shortest time possible and for above asking price. The short review: hire this team, do what they tell ya to do, and get out of their way. They will take care of you like you are family. Long review. Sale side first. Janel, with her years of experience, handled the listing and sale of my co-op. A co-op is a different animal than even a condo. If there was any difficulty in handling the transaction, it never reached me. Janel has a way of making suggestions in a friendly but firm manner. My advice is, do everything she says. She knows what works in any market at the present time, a moving target. The amount of paperwork involved in any real estate transaction is daunting. Too, team Pelosis paper wrangler kept everything moving right along. Its not her fault that theres so much of it! All in all, very friendly and professional. Couldnt be happier. Jessica Nance handled my aEURoebuyaEUR? side. She made the phone calls, set up the appointments and met me at properties usually the day after they popped up on the MLS. She helped crunch numbers and explain different parts of the financials. She fearlessly negotiated my offer - under asking price is a sellers market. Offer accepted and acceptable to both sides. Her attention to detail is outstanding - and there are a lot of details. All the inspections and appraisals went off without a hitch. All the different statements and disclosures and repair requests, handled with ease. If I thought there was paperwork on the selling side, on the buying side there is a MOUNTAIN of papers to sign. I had questions during my signing process, she got answers. Jessica was unflappable, knowledgeable, very insightful and listens well, a most admirable quality. Again, couldnt be happier. But wait, theres more. Team Pelosi partners with a mortgage broker who manages to be both personable and professional and willing to break down the financial side to the most basic, understandable numbers. And although they didnt really believe me when I said the interest rates would drop, they waited for as long as they could and were pretty excited with the interest rates did indeed drop and they were able to lock in a screamin deal. Team Pelosi makes this real estate thing look easy.

ZillowVERIFIED My parents and I met Jessica at an open house hosted by her and Janel in Concord, CA. At the time, we had yet to retain a realtor. Janel offered her services, and we worked with Jessica thereafter. Jessica sent me listings in the Concord area via e-mail a few days later. After we ironed out the specs my parents needed, she suggested the listing for the house that my parents ultimately purchased. Jessica prepared our offer and it was accepted. Thanks to a quick close, the entire process only took a few weeks. Jessica seemed pretty well-versed and experienced. As far as areas of potential improvement, there are a few things I would like to mention. I feel like she could have more methodically explained the details of the process as it went on. The terms of the offer being "as is" may be common practice, but I was under the impression that the sellers were nevertheless bound by their disclosures. For example, when I purchased my condo in SF, my realtor made it a point to hold the sellers to the info set forth in their disclosures, which I appreciated. There was some minor damage to certain areas of the Concord house that was not divulged in the disclosures, which I did not find out about until the Buyer's inspection. I was a little surprised that the seller refused to make any repairs since since my previous experience was different. Had Jessica explained ahead of time and in detail that the offer was literally "as is," I would not have been as surprised. Also, during the "final walk through," the house had not been cleaned by the sellers. We had to request a cleaning after the fact. I believe this should have been taken care of ahead of time and before the "final walk through" date was set. Finally, I would have appreciated some further assistance with regard to facilitating the transition for my parents into their new home. The day after closing the Seller's Agent stopped by and introduced herself. She provided a list of vendors and utility companies that would be helpful to any owner of a new home, especially since my parents were moving from out of the area. My original plan was to Google trash, water, and power, and other utilities before I met Wendy. Had this sort of info been offered up front by our own agent, the thought would have been much appreciated. All in all, Jessica was very nice and did a good job in making the sale happen. However, she could have been more proactive and helpful by making sure we were well-informed and had a smooth move-in. That would have been more preferable than having to figure certain things out for ourselves.

ZillowVERIFIED When it came time to sell our first "starter" home and buy our forever home, we knew we needed to do things differently than we had with our first purchase. We set out to look for the right realtor. We did our homework by interviewing a few realtors and looking up their purchase/sale records, and we were confident that Janel was who we needed. And she proved us right! From the get-go, Janel was able to pin-point exactly what needed to be done to our home in order to market it well. This was so helpful, especially because our property was unique and different from anything else in the area and price range. We had at least 3 other realtors spinning their wheels about the price point, what to fix before marketing, etc. Janel was able to give us straight answers and solid reasons to support her marketing strategy. This was very important to us, especially given the market! We landed a generous offer over asking plus 60 day rent back so we could have time to look for our new home. Being on the buying end, Janel was extremely patient as we figured out what we really wanted in a home. She gave us just the right amount of support when we needed some direction, while still allowing us the space we needed to make the decision for our family. Janel was our steadfast anchor in what can often be a very stressful profess of buying-selling a home. She is professional and also personable and warm. I forgot to mention earlier, that she even sent her own husband out to our property to haul away a tree branch on our driveway before our house went up on the market!
