ZillowVERIFIEDWe recently closed on a lake home and were lucky to have Jane working with us! She was an expert on all things lake life, and super knowledgeable about the area, which was huge for us since we were purchasing from out of state. Jane was quick to gather information and made sure we were well-informed the entire way! She always made herself available when needed, and made us feel comfortable throughout the purchasing process. She is completely honest and transparent, and provided helpful opinions and recommendations. Highly recommend Jane for anyone looking for a great agent!

ZillowVERIFIED Our listing was not an easy one. Almost everything that could go wrong went wrong. Jane was very calm and cool walking through everything with us slowly. She has a lot of local resources available to help out almost any scenario. She is always available even though she has a busy schedule. She takes the time necessary at all hours to help when she can. I recommend her highly to anyone in the area. Great job Jane

ZillowVERIFIED Having a specific type of house in mind can make it difficult to find the house you are looking for. Add to the situation that you live almost 1000 miles away and the challenges grow. I was lucky to connect with Jane Carmichael. She did a lot of running around and checking out properties for me. Unfortunately we were unable to find a property that had what I was looking for. At that time, Jane gently suggested looking for land and building the house I wanted. She didnt provide it as a hard sale aEUR" more of a aEUR~have you thought about... I hadnt. And when I did, it seemed like a good idea. Jane then spent time finding some land opportunities. We found one that I liked and she helped me negotiate . After settling on a price, Jane helped me with the closing, so far was able to close remotely. Jane also provided me the name of a local builder that she had worked wth directly. She highly recommended him, and so far, I couldnt be happier with the work he is doing. We still have a ways to go, but I feel confident that I will be happy with the final product. I highly recommend Jane Carmichael.

ZillowVERIFIED One of the hardest working woman I have ever met. She went way beyond what a normal agent would do. She has great contacts to make the process easier: loan, inspection, closing, etc and she knows how to get the job done. If you need to do work on the home she knows who to contact. Amazing and very knowledgable agent who worked very hard for her commission.

ZillowVERIFIED Jane went above and beyond to help us find our first home. Being a first time home buyer and not knowing what to expect, Jane helped ease that anxiety by answering every question we had in a timely manner and with confidence. She knew the answer to most of our questions and if she didn't, she knew exactly how to find out. I highly recommend Jane!

ZillowVERIFIED Jane showed up over an hour late to our only viewing. She lacked specific knowledge about the location and was reading from the same pamphlet we had already read during the hour we had waited for her to arrive, making it obvious she was not prepared for that evening. She was assigned to us by Zillow as we were interested in the property in question. Once she learned the property already had several offers and we were not ready to make an offer that evening, she pivoted and the rest of her time was spent attempting to retain her services. The listing agent, by comparison, arrived on time, could speak to the property and the region very well, and was more genuine in his approach.

ZillowVERIFIED Jane was great to work with. We reached out to her two years ago to purchase a lake house. She would send us listings on a monthly basis of properties that met our criteria. She was patient and offered us a lot of great options until we finally found our perfect lake house.

ZillowVERIFIED We were extremely fortunate to have Jane as our Realtor. We were impressed with her knowledge of the market, her tireless efforts, honesty, and professionalism. Jane worked with us through the entire process - she even came to our rescue when we had an issue after closing. We highly recommend Jane for any real estate needs. We started out looking for land, then switched to seasonal property, before settling on a year round vacation home. She knows her stuff we were impressed that she is so well versed in not only properties, but also with land. When it's time for us to retire we will be listing our home with Jane. Thank you Jane for everything you did and have done!

ZillowVERIFIED From the moment my wife and I met Jane we were instantly comfortable. She was very responsive to all of our questions and in guiding us along the way. We never had an issue and she helped us get a property we were interested in and at a price we wanted. I would definitely use her again should we ever want to sell our home or look for a new one. I cannot say enough good things about her.

ZillowVERIFIED Jane Carmichael has an excellent knowledge of the market. She was right on top of listings as they came up and provided excellent guidance in my search for a lake front property. I was particularly impressed with the information that she was able to access about each lake / water quality/ boating regulations/ waterfront regulations/ association rules/ etc. Each time we were in contact, Jane's follow through was absolutely top notch. She responded within hours and we saw homes that I selected from lists that she provided. Her follow up with agents and owners was prompt and effective. Searching for a lake house or a full time home in Maine? I do not think that I would use anyone else!

ZillowVERIFIED Jane has been instrumental in helping me over many months in my search for a home in Maine. I dragged here from the border of New Hampshire to Moosehead Lake to Acadia. Every area covered, she had standing knowledge that proved useful in my search. The best part of Jane is we developed a level of trust. She spoke to me with my interest in mind; she never steered me. If anything I dragged her all over the state. She always spoke and provided the information she had and was forthcoming if she did not have the info at the time. I was comfortable with Jane. I didn't question or second guess her work because she would tell me if she knew, didn't know or had to find out. She is fair and she listened to my needs.

ZillowVERIFIED Jane is an exceptional agent with top notch customer service. She sought to protect us as buyers, and only recommends people she has personally vetted and trusts with her own business (contractors, excavators, etc.). She has incredible ethics, and I trust her with any and all of my future real estate dealings.

ZillowVERIFIED I highly recommend Jane. She is knowledgeable, honest, respectful and works very hard to satisfy client requirements and the budget. Jane will include a builder/contractor, when necessary, to ensure that the client receives answers to all questions. Without doubt, I would enlist her services again.

ZillowVERIFIED Jane was essential in my closing on a house and securing a USDA/Rural development loan. She was very knowledgeable, a wiz with math and I felt she did a great job protecting my interests. It was a 3 month long process and she was with me the whole way.Highly recommended, also i was a first time buyer wand honestly without her the house I now own and love wouldn't have been mine.

ZillowVERIFIED Jane did a great job in helping us find a wonderful lake home. Her knowledge of the area was a great help. Any questions I had she was timely and complete in her response. She also had good recommendations of local contractors. All of these are a must for any realtor and the main reason I would recommend Jane is honesty! If she didn't know she found out! I felt very comfortable I was always getting information that was accurate and true.
