I use a wheelchair, so our dream home had quite a few extra parameters, and we had a narrow geographical range (about 1 mile diameter). Jamie was very patient with us and really worked with us to get a sense of what we were looking for, even as we bounced back and forth between fixers and turn-key homes. We also never felt pushed by her to choose one way or another on a home, which was important to us, as we were trying to stick to our self-imposed budget - she gave us our opinion on value but never tried to sway us either way on an offer. In the end, she helped us close on the home of our dreams, even after we were initially out-bid. After offers, she also helped us find contractors for termite work that needed to be done on the house and had recommendations for other tradespeople. Her local knowledge and expertise is invaluable, especially for new homebuyers. We felt secure knowing Jamie was looking out for risks and opportunities, and guiding us each step of the way. When looking for a realtor, we initially considered looking at lower-cost agencies, but can't say how glad we are we went with Jamie - we would choose her again in a heartbeat to buy or sell a home.

I approached her at an open house about providing my mother with a market analysis on her home and also disclosed that at the time my mother was not in the market to sell. With no expectations Jaime provided my mother with a detailed analysis of the comps in her neighborhood and what she should expect the home to sell for at different levels of repair work. Fortunately for my mother we had a neighbor two doors down selling the exact same home who had recently put a lot of work into the house in preparation for the sale and so had a good idea what to expect. Given all of the data points my mother was able to make an informed decision to list and Jamie was able to find her a buyer in less than a week. Side note : When I approached Jamie I had no expectation that my mother would be selling her home. I was moving out of state and wanted to be sure my mother was considering all of her long term options. Because Jaime has such an authentically friendly disposition (read not a pushy salesperson) and showed her genuine care for my mother's well being, she was able to build a fast rapport with my mother and I, and I know my mom's decision to both list and sell with Jamie was the right one. ZillowVERIFIED When it was time to sell my home, I was at a loss. My husband had recently passed away and I had no experience in what was to come. I received a flyer from Jamie Sweeney along with several others. Something struck me to choose Jamie. I called her and we set a date to meet. As soon as we sat down together, I was so comfortable talking with her. She just felt like a friend right away and very sincere about helping me through this difficult time in my life. She was determined to help me receive the highest price for my home. Throughout the whole process, she was there to advise, follow up and do anything to help me prepare for the sale. She knew I needed bubble wrap to get started and boxes. She texted the next day asking me to look on my doorstep. To my amazement, there were bundles of bubble wrap waiting for me. She checked with previous clients who had moved to my area and arranged for me to pick up used boxes from them which saved a bundle. I had to move furniture to the garage to prepare for the staging of the home and didn't want me to incur more cost, so her husband and son came and moved it all for me. New rules required fire alarms in each room, which I only had 1 in the hall. She showed up the next day with alarms she purchased and arranged a great guy to come and install them. She had a wonderful woman stage the home. It was perfect when she was done. We met for lunch several times to go over how things were progressing in which she treat me each time. If someone was to come to the home to show it, she would call at the time they were to arrive and made sure they had. Everything that was required, she always followed up to make sure it was done properly. All the way through the process and beyond, she was there for me. My home sold for the best price in my area. When I moved and needed to prepare my taxes, she was able to prepare a "step-up appraisal" when my husband passed, for the sale of my home, so I would't have to pay much taxes on the gain. She is one of only a few realtors that is approved to do this. It ended up I paid no taxes on the gain. We remain friends to this day, updating each other on our lives and happy times. I would certainly recommend Jamie to everyone who wished the best experience and help in selling their home. I know she will go over and beyond the norm. I will always be thankful to Jamie for lifting my spirits and giving me the most professional experience with the touch of friendship.

She even went to Home Depot for me to help pick out new lights, material, and flooring as well. She went over to my home every week to make sure the garbage was dumped, grabbed my mail, and that the landscaping was being taken care of. Once the home was ready, she was able to negotiate with the buyers agent a price that way exceeded my expectations. My property sold for the highest per square foot in the entire neighborhood!
