ZillowVERIFIEDWe traveled to North Myrtle Beach to look at and buy a boat slip. I found some I liked and wanted to view them, he seemed responsive via text. But wouldn't meet me onsite, and I had to preview them by myself. When I went to make an offer he told me that he had a min fee of $3,000 otherwise the deal (small commissions) wasn't worth it to him. Then to make matters worse the one slip that I wanted to buy wasn't even for sale. I eventually found the listing agent and she was able to get me up to speed, unfortunately this was done as we were leaving town. Perhaps a realtor should verify this before he sends them? Perhaps if a realtor that doesn't want to deal with small transactions shouldn't waste everyone's time. Now I get to waste my time and money and on a return trip to review the slips that are actually for sale. He was a horrible experience for us. Maybe he's better when he's chasing bigger paydays.
