We initially chose Jim as the agent to sell our parents home based on excellent reviews and experience, but his services far exceeded expectations. Jim was personable and his communication exceptional throughout the entire process...keeping us all informed, welcoming feedback, and answering questions promptly. He paid close attention to any concerns we had, even offering to consult with his own professional resources which proved very helpful. Jim expertly managed marketing the property, pricing it competitively, and hiring professionals for photo/video presentation and mailers. The finished listing was bright and welcoming, and a perfect buyer was found shortly after his first open-house. A contract was signed two weeks after the first showing, closing just a month later, and selling for over the asking price! Our family couldnt have asked for a better outcome handled by such a knowledgeable and understanding agent, especially respectful of our parents leaving their memory-filled home behind. Jims professionalism in overseeing all aspects of this sale, and in co-ordination with our lawyer, made what could have been an overwhelming process...virtually uncomplicated. ZillowVERIFIED I cant begin to say enough good things about my real estate agent, Jim McKenna. I recently moved from another state and did not have any time off from work in between jobs. I had no knowledge of local real estate agents and used USAAs real estate referral program. Jim contacted me within minutes of signing up for the program. I had a number of questions, and he took the time to research them that same day. He even put me in touch with others who are experts in the questions that I had, and had already spoken to them so they would be ready for my call. I was in town for one day to look at houses. He arranged for me to see 15 houses that day, and patiently waited as I brought my family with me via Facetime. He had a laser tape measure with him and measured all of the rooms I wanted dimensions on, and answered every question I had about the houses. If he didnt know the answer right away, he figured out how to find it and never once considered saying, aEURoeI dont knowaEUR?. When I found the house I wanted, he was able to arrange for me to move in quickly, and handled all of the negotiating. He never stopped working to ensure everything went smoothly and that I was happy with all of the terms of the sale until after closing. My situation was definitely a difficult one to work with because of my limited availability to look at houses, my very tight timeline between looking and moving in, the condition of the house I ended up choosing, and the detailed requirements for the loan I got. Despite all of this, Jim never complained and just got everything accomplished. Needless to say, I highly recommend him. I also wouldnt worry about where you are looking for a house. His office is not in the town I was looking in which I initially thought may be a problem but it was not. The important things are finding an agent that has a strong work ethic, is competent, and truly cares. These things all describe Jim McKenna.
