After my Mother Kennie passed away I needed a realtor to help me sell her house in New Hope. Fortunately I had Jim! Obviously it was a difficult time for me, especially since I do not live in Pennsylvania. I feel so lucky to have had Jim as my friend and realtor. He and Doug Wilmot guided and supported me through the the difficult process of making my Mothers house ready to put on the market which included some updating and repairs that were necessary to get the best price for her home. Jim was so kind, professional and knowledgeable through the whole process. He went above and beyond to make what was a difficult situation as easy as possible! ZillowVERIFIED I have never sold a house before, so the idea was daunting. On top of that, I was selling the house I grew up in after the passing of my brother, so it was also a sad time. A family friend recommended Jim Briggs to me and working with him suddenly made things so much easier. Jim was quick to meet with my husband and I to review our options. He was clear and honest in his assessment of the house and what we needed to do to sell it and walked us through the process and how it would all work. His knowledge of the real estate market in the surrounding area was extremely helpful in guiding us in what to expect in the process. And, of great importance to me as I was going through this emotional experience, he was patient and understanding as I worked through the long and arduous task of cleaning out a home my family had lived in for 50 years. Add all these things together, plus the fact that Jim is just a great person to talk to, and you have a realtor that is really there for you. We would absolutely use Jim again and I'd recommend him to anyone looking for an agent to help them buy or sell a home.

ZillowVERIFIED Jim Briggs has worked with my wife and I for over 20 years. He has had multiple dealings with my wife who rehabs homes in the area. They must have completed ten or more deals together in that time period. Jim has also worked with other family members who have sought to live in the New Hope, Solebury, Buckingham and Doylestown area. Jim is the consummate professional who gets you to the "table" on deals. As a businessman who doesn't have time to waste I find Jim will only work with serious people who ultimately wish to conclude a deal. In one of the last sales he participated in my wife sold a restored house in one showing. We don't use anyone else so I think that tells the whole story.

It became necessary for us to vacate our home to begin our new lifestyle in a warmer climate several states away resulting in the propertty being marketed as an absentee ownership. That did not appear to make a difference since Jim Briggs was the Listing Agent. You checked oil tank guages, propane volume, flushed all toilets regularly, checked generator operations, reviewed landscape maintentance while becoming the unofficial Property Manager as other issues occurred throughout the listing period. We really appreciate your many skills, especially in negotiating, your market knowledge, as well as years of experience. He is a consummate professional while still being approachable and sensitive to individual needs and concerns. We never felt that we were inconvenienced or left in the dark.
