So many pieces have to come together in a short amount of time. James was both our buying and selling agent and he was phenomenal. I was a single young woman with a bizarre career as an artist who was looking for a home that allowed me to be bi-coastal between Pennsylvania and California. I think many people wouldn?t have taken me seriously, but James blew me away again and again with his thoughtfulness and support. From the start, James listened and took to heart the kind of home I was looking for. Not only when it came to the usual parameters such as budget and size, but also fielding my very specific hopes aesthetically. As we moved forward working together, James was extremely generous with his time looking at any house I was curious about so I could better understand the landscape of the market. He was an incredible resource to me as a first-time homeowner offering me insight and making my options clear while never ever putting any pressure on me to make an offer. In fact, I felt James looked out for me, never letting me compromise my wants and make an offer on a house when he knew I could do better. Being patient and trusting his instincts paid off. Only a couple months into the process, when I was back in Los Angeles, James sent me a listing -- I couldn?t believe what a perfect fit it was and beyond anything I ever thought possible. James once again accommodated my unique circumstances going to see the house with me on FaceTime making buying a home virtually possible. ZillowVERIFIED As being first-time home buyers, and in a tough spot of doing most of the process from over 1,000 miles away, James made it a point to do whatever he could to help us. He did several video calls with us to walk us through the house at all of the critical points (inspection, repairs, etc.), and offered us extremely helpful advice on a number of occasions. On closing day, he agreed to meet us at the house again to do a final walk-through, where he also offered to mow our (somewhat large) lawn for us, since we were still living in Colorado at the time and were without a mower. James made it a point to go above and beyond for us at every step of this process, to the point where my wife and I also now consider him a friend. We could not have asked for a better experience.
