Jake is a dynamic individual who is proud to call Kansas City his home. Growing up in KC and having had the opportunity to be steeped in the local culture and surroundings has provided Jake with a unique love and appreciation for this great metropolis. Graduating from the University of Kansas in 2019, Jake began his career in technology sales, discovered his passion for real estate, and hasn't looked back since.
Recognizing that homeownership is the cornerstone of the American dream, Jake is committed to making this dream a reality for every buyer and seller. I have worked with all sorts of clients. From first time home buyers, first time sellers, repeat buyers, sellers & investors. I have worked with rehab investors and rental buyers. Most of my business is traditional owner occupied buyers & sellers. I have worked with clients in their low 20s, all they way up to downsize clients in their 60s.
I recently closed a $635,000 new construction in the North Land from a buyer that was referred to me through Tiktok! The original agent who they connected with ghosted them, putting them back to square one. Then I was fortunate enough to be found by their Arizona agent through social media. A few months later I was helping them navigate relocating to Kansas City, where they are now starting their family here & are LOVING where they live! On closing day, they were so thankful that I didn't ghost them ;)
I got started in real estate in college. During my Junior & Senior year summer breaks, I interned for a team in Leawood, KS where I started to learn about the industry and the role. After graduating college, I decided to pursue a role in technology sales (because I thought it was the safer decision), only to get laid off 9 months later due to the World shutting down from the COVID pandemic. I decided this was my time to get my real estate license. At the end of 2020, I became licensed in both Kansas & Missouri, and early 2021, I began my real estate career! I started at RE/MAX as a solo agent, and was invited over to join a successful team at COMPASS, where I have been for 4 year now. Combining the COMPASS brand with my personal brand has allowed me to expand my expertise in this industry in order to serve my clients at the highest level.
