Jackie has been incredible from start to finish. It's the first tie we've purchased a home sight unseen. Through the entire process from start to closing, she's worked with us every step of the way. We had to depend on her expertise and advice on price, location, value. She took time to walk us through the home we have purchased, which we appreciated very much. She didn't push us in one direction or the other, but once we decided on a home, guided through the entire process. She always responded to our questions in a timely way, either by texting or email. She cleared the path between lender and us and advised us how to handle things like utility transfers. She's also been extremely helpful in suggestions as to cleaning services, painters, etc. We're really excited about our move to ABQ and couldn't have done it without her. I would highly recommend Jackie Staton to anyone looking to purchase a home in ABQ. Would I call her again? In a heartbeat!

We didnt know where to start or who to go to when we decided to buy our first house. We met with Jackie and Thomas with the Staton group and they explain the home buying processes thoroughly, what to expect, addressed our expectation, and made us feel like we were no longer going through it alone! They had great communication, and were on top of everything timely and efficiently. We closed on our dream house after only a couple months of house hunting. I bought a house before and it was a walk in the park however this was my first experience buying and selling with a contingency offer on the line. While this process had several hoops to jump through Jackie and the rest of the Staton group (Tim and Thomas) were able to minimize the stress on our end. Jackies continuous efforts even allowed for us to move the process up so we could get settled into our new home and put our focus back on planning our wedding. They were thorough to a T and I was definitely able to see the difference between a realtor on top of things and one who sadly let things fall though the cracks (as seen by the realtors on the other ends of the transaction). Thankfully Jackies knowledge bridged the gap and all parties involved benefitted. I don't think I can say enough good things about working with Jackie. I found her by chance when I asked for agent recommendations in the Albuquerque area. I followed up by checking her reviews elsewhere on the internet and was impressed so emailed her that weekend, not expecting to hear back until Monday. To my surprise I heard back from her later that very night! She asked a lot of questions to get to know our needs and started sending house listings to look at shortly thereafter. When we finally met her (we are from out of town) she took us all over the place; when I say that we saw 20+ houses in 2 days that is NOT an exaggeration. Jackie is a real go-getter and if you're a serious buyer then she will make it happen. I really wish I had a Jackie in my home state to sell my house because let me tell you: She SPOILED us. She was quick to respond to any questions via text, email, phone call, whatever. I never felt nervous or like I didn't know what was going on. I am not the confrontational type but one agent in my hometown was slow to respond and not clear with us about what was going on so I told him I had to work with someone else. The second agent we found was a little better, but no one in our experience has compared to Jackie and if we ever need to buy or sell again we will definitely be coming back to her. I really don't know what else to say except that Jackie and the Staton Group know what they are doing and will definitely take care of you every step of the way. I 100% recommend giving them a call!

My move was a relocation from the Portland, Oregon region to Albuquerque (ABQ). I had visited ABQ in the past, but knew very little about neighborhoods and real estate values and prices. I contacted some friends from ABQ, who highly recommended Jackie Staton. We made arrangements to fly down to ABQ for a week to meet with Jackie and see houses that met our requirements checklist, were in safe, well-regarded neighborhoods, and had the nearby amenities we wanted (retail, services, healthcare, cultural, outdoor activities). Jackie provided us access to her Multiple Listing Service portal, which we used to review properties on the market. We could "like" and rate the properties via the portal based on our interest-level, which Jackie had direct access to view. This allowed Jackie to schedule tours of those houses prior to our arrival, which made very efficient use of our limited time in ABQ. The market was red hot and some of the houses we wanted to see, were already "pending" or sold. Beginning with the very first house that we viewed, Jackie began refining the search criteria as she got to know us and the scope of requirements. She also developed a pretty good read on big picture info, like our shopping needs, leisure activities, healthcare needs, amount of time spent at home and the uses for the intended uses for the house, e.g. home office and accommodation for pet needs. She understood the quality of life and minimal standards we sought, including outdoor space and privacy - as well as plenty of walking and biking paths nearby. We looked at approximately one dozen houses and bid on two. We initially lost the first bid, even though we were the high-bidder. Jackie represented us well and this failed bid ultimately moved us along to another house we liked. We got to see this 2nd house one hour after it went on the market. It checked off nearly every requirement. We made a bid on Friday afternoon at $5K above asking price, returned home on Saturday, and on Sunday our offer was accepted. With the bid accepted, Jackie and her team began coordinating every aspect of the buyer's process for us. We were still 1400 miles away and we were concerned that distance would make it harder. That was not to be the case. Jackie and her team provided us with an easy to follow process schedule from accepted bid to closing date. It was approximately one month in duration. She provided the names and contacts for local inspectors. Once we determined who we wanted to use, she scheduled the inspections and met those professionals at the house. Using the inspection reports, Jackie went back to the seller to negotiate repairs, cost credits, and give-backs. Among other things, she got the seller to install a new heater, repair and service the fireplace, and provide credits for replacement value for a double-vanity in the master bathroom and some cracked floor tile. This amounted to a reduction of closing costs by over $5k. In addition, the house's appraised value came back at $24k above our purchase price. We were moving in with a larger percentage of equity than anticipated. The entire process from meeting Jackie to move-in date was five weeks. And it was accomplished relatively easily with no drama, no high-stress moments, no set-backs, and complete confidence: Jackie's confidence in representing our interests, our confidence in her expertise and commitment, the seller's confidence that she was a knowledgeable and experienced, and our lender's confidence in her as a partner for the closing. Watching house-hunting shows on TV actually left me unprepared. Those shows focus on the fun and interesting tours of houses. The time and effort required after the offer is expected is glossed over and hidden in these shows. The closing schedule was tight, but not difficult, because we had a pro, Jackie, guiding us. Consider that we called Jackie ten days before flying to ABQ to meet her and see homes. Thirty days later we were drinking champagne in our new house. The most important and consequential action in the whole process was finding the right agent. Jackie made the house-hunt and relocation simple - and pleasant. I highly recommend her and her team. I could not be happier with the experience I had working with Jaclyn to sell my home. She was knowledgeable, professional, and extremely responsive to our needs. I anticipated my home remaining on the market for several months or more based on its location.
