ReviewWe hired Jackie Horton as our realtor to help us sell our home in Austin, Texas. We heard that she was one of the top realtors in Texas and she more than lived up to that evaluation. We found her extremely competent. She had a sound evaluation of the market and directed us on how best to sell our house. But more than that, she made us feel very secure in the big decision we were making and guided us at each decision we had to make. She did not push us to make any decision; she worked with us. We really appreciated that approach. Unfortunately, we put our house on the market after the best spring selling time. She made sure she held an open house nearly every weekend. She collaborated with us to make all the necessary repairs. She knew all the right people to help us make our house feel new again after 25 years of use. We were happy with every contractor. She got us in touch with an outstanding moving company. The house was beautifully staged. She lived up to her reputation in the real estate market as being honest, knowledgeable, and competent, as well as having empathy with clients that found selling their home very emotional. We highly recommend Jackie without any reservations.

She's also a wealth of knowledge so she's very trustworthy when it comes to being able to give options or explanations for anything interesting that may pop-up in the home-buying or home-selling process (i.e. who to call if something needs fixed/staged/replaced, how to decorate, etc.) We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have met her and we have hung onto her for every home we've ever bought and sold over the past 20 years, and now my parents and brother use her, too.

We later found out we beat out over 1,000 other bids on those 10 lots and feel so fortunate to have Jackies guidance. Throughout the build, Jackie also landed her expertise. She showed up to every meeting early and knew what to look for during walk throughs. She also was so sweet to give us some lovely gifts which weve proudly displayed in our new home. Jackie made the build process a breeze; we couldnt have asked for a smoother process. We reached out to her after seeing her reviews and we started the process of getting our house ready to sell. She has such good recommendations on what to do to get our home ready to sell. While we were getting our home ready to sell, we were also getting ready to get our house built. She brought up a lot of good points, what to look for and things to consider. Which it was nice to have a different point of view, someone who is familiar with homes. Jackie always answered our questions. It was nice having an extra set of eyes doing our final walk through. We would definitely recommend her in a heartbeat.
