FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Diligently budget, plan for the unexpected, and be patient during your search. So many homebuying mistakes are committed when buyers get antsy about having shopped for a long time, or feel pressured to dive in to a home that is not right for them. We always encourage our clients to take special time and care when purchasing a home, particularly for the first time, which ensures they will be happy with their purchase for years to come.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
The key word here is preparation. As we mention in all of our listing appointments, it is possible to consistently achieve top-dollar, quick-turnaround sales when sellers are appraised of all the steps they need to take in order to make their home most marketable. This includes cleanup, light redecoration, staging where appropriate, and taking care of any present maintenance issues on the property BEFORE we hit the market.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
We have worked with every single type of major client present in the Las Vegas real estate market, and have been doing so for over forty years. Whether you're a first-time homebuyer, an investment trust, a local startup or a multinational company, we have experience handling your unique brand of real estate needs and are willing to go out of our way to give you top-notch service and representation.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Within seven days of one another, we closed a buyer-side residential transaction from a first-time homebuyer who had just moved to the valley from California, and our tenth vacant commercial land acquisition from an investment body we have been working with for several years. It was truly great to be able to be involved in transactions on such opposite side of the real estate spectrum.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
Jack got his start in real estate after serving in the US military and enjoying a highly decorated career there. Upon moving to Las Vegas in the early 70s, he got his start in real estate after making many important and long-standing connections with Vegas valley denizens. He hires and maintains a team of expert agents with various sub-specialties who espouse his same sense of duty and community values.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes. Jack is an accredited GRI, CRS, SRES and CCIM.
We worked with Michelle Hershberger to purchase a house. She went above and beyond in every aspect of our search for the perfect home. She also was very patient answering all of our questions. I highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking to buy or sell property. I greatly enjoyed working with her.

Our first encounter with Jack and Jeff was at a showing of our neighbors home. We knew that when it came time for us to make the move, it would be the Jack Woodcock Group. We were not disappointed. They actually suggested RAISING our asking price and they were right on the money. From signing our listing agreement to final closing was a grand total of 38 days. They were responsive to questions and walked us through the procedure and held our hand when it needed holding. We highly recommend the Jack Woodcock Group. They are knowledgeable, professional and courteous.
