ZillowVERIFIED Zillow put me in contact with Mr. Lanners for a house showing. He immediately asked me if I was working with anyone and then informed me aEURoeif I write the contract, I get the commission!!aEUR? Even before we had discussed the situation and what I was looking for, he made sure that he was going to get paid. I was quite taken aback but the property looked great so I said ok? (I think there was only one answer in this situation but his forthright manner took me aback.) We spoke a few times and settled on a date for a house showing a few days from our conversation. He instructed me that he would meet me in front of the property at 11:00 on Thursday and I agreed to meet at that date rearranging my work schedule to accommodate. After traveling 45 minutes to the location, I called Mr. Lanners when he was nowhere to be found at 11. I left a message and continued to wait. After more time had passed, I called him back and my call went straight to voicemail. 45 minutes approximately after our scheduled meeting time, he called me back and proceeded to accuse me of not reconfirming the appointment and put the blame on me. He then informed me that the house may be under contract and that I should have gone to see it sooner. I was shocked. Professionally, I felt that he was rude and inconsiderate with no respect or courtesy for the time of others. He clearly was only interested in what he would get out of the deal moreso than helping clients and when the house went under contract, reaching out to let me know didn't seem to be in the plans. I understand that everyone has to make a living but his lack of consideration for others/disorganization then placing the blame on the client left a bad taste in my mouth. Needless to say, I was terribly disappointed in Mr. Lanners manner and approach to business and would NEVER consider doing business with him after our interaction. ????

ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I initially used Jack's Seasonal Rental Service to rent a villa for January and February 2020.We found Jack to be exceptionally responsive and personable. We then engaged Jack to look at properties to purchase. His understanding of Naples Real Estate Market is unrivaled.Knowing our lifestyle and desires he led us to Naples Reserve, which we immediately fell in love with. Where our residence during construction was in Charlotte, NC, Jack regularly checked on construction and emailed us photos on a regular basis. We could not have asked for a more thorough and personable broker. We highly recommend his services.Ron and Ellen Cedrone

ZillowVERIFIED Jack recently assisted us in purchasing a second home in Fla. He was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable of the Naples area and spent a considerable amount of time showing us around the area. After we found a place, Jack was available to us to assist us with our furniture delivery, condo set up and also recommended a contractor to us for some additional work we wanted done on the unit. We appreciate Jack's attention to detail and the way he was there for us even after the sale. thank you Neil and Marybeth Connolly Paramus NJ

ZillowVERIFIED We were looking to purchase a condo and were lucky enough to meet Jack . He promptly arranged for a get together to look at properties in the areas of interest. He showed us a variety of properties and even went out of his way, spending extra time driving us around, to familiarize us with the different areas & things going on in these areas .... really allowed us to make a better, more educated decision! With his help, after some smart negotiations, we purchased a beautiful condo which we truly love ! He was our realtor yes ... but he quickly became our friend . Afterwards, he and his wife actually helped us settle in by assisting us in securing things needed while we were still out of the area . Jacks an excellent real estate agent who knows his business & Florida very well . Hes also a great guy !! So glad we met him.

ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I first rented a beautiful property using Jack. We were so pleased, that we came back a second and third year, and finally bought a vacant parcel using his services. His negotiating skills gave us the best possible price. He has also given us some excellent advice about local restaurants and attractions, and has even assisted us in obtaining a qualified dog-sitter.No matter what your real-estate related questions might be, Ask Jack.

ZillowVERIFIED A great realtor. Is quick to respond and find what you need. Works hard to negotiate and get you the best deal, but will also give you advice and help you avoid adverse dealings. It is appreciated to have someone who did not sugarcoat things and told us what is or isn't a good deal or idea. Avoided issues, which in the end saved us money. Previous realtors tried to talk us into buying or renting homes we did not want, but he is straightforward and very helpful, which took a lot of stress off of us. Highly recommend.
