FAQ
Get Pre-Approved Early
Before you start viewing homes, secure your pre-approval. It gives you a clear budget, strengthens your offer, and helps you move quickly when the right property appears.
Know Your Priorities
Separate needs from wants. Decide what matters most — neighborhood, space, light, finishes, or long-term investment value — and I’ll help you find where those priorities meet your budget.
Understand the Market
In areas like Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and prime Brooklyn, demand is high and competition can be fierce. Timing, pricing, and presentation matter. I guide my clients on when to act decisively and when to negotiate strategically.
Think Beyond the Offer
The price is just one piece of the puzzle. Terms, contingencies, and even tone can win a deal. My role is to make sure your offer is both competitive and smart, protecting your interests every step of the way.
Trust the Process — and Your Agent
Real estate moves fast, and emotions can run high. I help you stay grounded, informed, and confident from first viewing to closing day.
Selling your home is both a business decision and a personal milestone. My advice to sellers is to treat your sale as a strategic process, not just a listing — and to position your property so it tells its best story from the very first showing.
Price It Right from the Start
The first two weeks are critical. A home priced strategically — not emotionally — attracts serious buyers and sets the tone for strong offers. I analyze comparable sales and current demand in neighborhoods like Williamsburg and Greenpoint to pinpoint the true market value that drives results.
First Impressions Matter
Presentation is everything. From professional photography and staging to lighting and scent, small details can make a lasting impression. I work closely with each seller to elevate the property’s appeal and ensure it stands out online and in person.
Timing and Strategy Win Deals
Every market shifts. Understanding when to list and how to position your home can mean the difference between average results and record-breaking ones. I monitor real-time data and trends to guide that decision.
Negotiate with Purpose
My role is to protect your bottom line. I negotiate thoughtfully — focusing not only on price but also on terms, timing, and buyer strength — to achieve the best outcome for you.
Stay Informed and Supported
Selling can be emotional. My job is to handle the stress behind the scenes while keeping you fully informed, so you always feel in control and confident every step of the way.
My goal is simple: to sell your home for the best possible price, in the shortest amount of time, with the least amount of stress.
Types of Clients I Work With
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients — each with unique goals, timelines, and stories. What they all share is a desire for honest guidance, clear communication, and results that reflect their best interests.
I represent:
First-time buyers navigating the NYC market for the very first time — helping them understand every step, from financing to closing.
Seasoned investors and developers looking for high-performing assets and off-market opportunities, especially throughout Brooklyn, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint.
Homeowners and sellers seeking a competitive edge through pricing strategy, presentation, and strong negotiation.
Relocating clients and international buyers who rely on my local expertise and global perspective to make confident real estate decisions.
Luxury and boutique property owners who value discretion, precision, and market positioning that elevates their home’s full potential.
No matter the client profile or price point, my commitment remains the same — to listen carefully, strategize thoughtfully, and deliver outcomes that align with each client’s goals and lifestyle.
One of my favorite recent transactions began as a simple rental showing in Brooklyn. Teresa and Alex, a young couple and first-time buyers, came to see a one-bedroom apartment for rent just to explore the neighborhood and get a sense of the building.
From the moment they stepped inside, they fell in love — with the light, the finishes, and the feeling of home the building offered. Rather than renting, I saw an opportunity to help them own what they truly loved.
After a few focused conversations and some fast market research, I located an off-market two-bedroom apartment in the same building that fit their needs and long-term goals perfectly. We moved quickly — negotiated favorable terms, guided them through the process, and closed within 30 days, just in time for their lease to expire.
What started as a rental tour turned into the joy of helping Teresa and Alex buy their first home in Brooklyn — a place that immediately felt like theirs. For me, it was the perfect example of how listening carefully, acting strategically, and understanding my clients’ vision can turn possibility into reality.
My journey into real estate began by pure chance — or maybe fate.
Years ago, I was returning to New York City from Vermont, where I had spent the summer working as a babysitter for a Swiss family. Their car was full on the way back, so they sent me home by train instead. That small twist of luck changed my entire life.
On that train, I walked down the aisle looking for a quiet window seat. None were open, so I chose to sit next to a woman who seemed calm and creative — and that woman turned out to be Suzanne Brose, a powerhouse in the real estate world. What I thought would be a quiet trip turned into seven hours of nonstop conversation about life, art, and New York City.
Suzanne wasn’t just a real estate broker; she was a mentor and a leader who surrounded herself with strong, artistic women. She gave me her number and told me to stay in touch. For a year, we did — and when I finally built up the courage to take my real estate exam, I joined her boutique firm, Custom Brokers, in Soho.
It wasn’t easy. I failed my exam four times before passing on my fifth try. But Suzanne never let me give up. Her encouragement taught me one of the most important lessons of my life — persistence creates opportunity.
I got my license in January 2010, and on my very first day, I closed my first rental deal. From that moment, I knew I had found my path. Real estate became more than a career — it became a way to connect with people, guide them through life-changing decisions, and turn their stories into new beginnings.
And I’ve never stopped loving it since.
Yes — my background combines both formal education and hands-on experience that directly benefit my clients every day.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from City College of New York, which gives me a strong foundation in the financial side of real estate — from pricing strategy and market valuation to investment analysis and negotiation structure. I also completed advanced coursework in Real Estate Development at NYU, which deepened my understanding of how buildings, design, and long-term value come together in New York City’s complex market.
Beyond academics, I’ve trained under some of the most respected mentors in the industry, learning the art of negotiation, property marketing, and client relations through years of practical experience. This blend of business acumen, real-world strategy, and human understanding allows me to protect my clients’ interests and guide them toward the best possible decisions — whether they’re buying, selling, or investing.
