ZillowVERIFIEDThis lady knows her stuff! We have bought or sold through her over the last 20 years because of her tenacity, knowledge and reliability to get it done! Even when times were hard for us, Irene worked with us to get solid financing on the house that we bought 15 years ago in Divide CO. Our most recent business with her was on 96 you went to Vail in florissant. She had it sold immediately for full price.

ZillowVERIFIED We were impressed with Irene the 1st time we met her. She knows the territory, the market, the contractors to get things done and all the ins and outs with buying and selling. We have recommended her to many others and will continue to pass her name along to anyone in need of a realtor for any reason. She did a terrific job in finding us our 1st home in Colorado 4 1/2 years ago when we moved here and in selling that home now that we were ready to move on. She is the BEST!

I was office manager at a real estate company for several years. I speak with experience when I say Irene is the ultimate Realtor. She was both our selling agent and buyer's agent. Her years of experience are invaluable. And, she is one of the nicest people I've ever met. I totally recommend Irene Tanis as your Realtor.

ZillowVERIFIED Irene and her team have an in-depth and longstanding knowledge of Teller County and made purchasing a home in this highly competitive market a breeze and pleasurable buying experience. She readily understood our needs and wants, was extremely attentive and so comfortable to work with. Exceptional realtor!

ZillowVERIFIED Can't say enough about working with Irene. Our house was on the market for several months due to several factors beyond her control such as excessive road noise, layout and very steep yard. However, Irene was so professional and patient with us no matter how frustrated and difficult we became to deal with. If you need a honest, experienced and kind realtor to sell or buy a home with she would be an excellent choice for Teller County and the surrounding Pikes Peak region. Thank you Irene for being there for us during a really stressful time.Ellen Barber

ZillowVERIFIED We LOVED working with Irene! She helped us sell our house quickly and find the house of our dreams and lock it down right away. She doesnt waste any time, she was always really quick to get back to us when we reached out. She made the whole process feel easy. Irene far exceeded my expectations and I will recommend her to everyone I know!

ZillowVERIFIED I was pleased with Irene's knowledge of the local area. She was very responsive to any and all questions I had. Her response time was rapid and she had an assistant that was knowledgeable about where we were in the process and could step in if Irene was not immediately available.

ZillowVERIFIED Irene is one of the most upbeat, energetic, positive people I have ever met! I was so lucky the day I chose her as my realtor to sell my home and downsize to a new one. I hope never to have to move again but if I did my biggest hope would be to remain in her real estate territory! I have told everyone I know that she is, far and beyond, the absolute BEST! Competent. Professional. Experienced. Knowledgeable. Fun. She know her market better than anyone. She made what was otherwise a fairly awful experience, not only doable but pleasant.

ZillowVERIFIED Irene was available to my wife and I immediately the first time we contacted her. While she and her team have a tremendous number of clients at any one time, she and Kylie (her assistant) treated us like we were the only clients that they had. That, in my estimation, is the mark of a true professional.

ZillowVERIFIED Irene originally sold the property to my parents back in 1992 and when it came time to sell her home, Mom recommended contacting Irene. I was go glad she did. Irene, and her office assistant, Kylie, were above and beyond helpful in handling all the little details and in giving local insight of where to go for things that needed to be done prior to putting the house on the market. Being I live in Atlanta and was handling the sale from a distance, the knowledge Irene had was invaluable. Irene was very kind and understanding throughout the process and made it as smooth as it could possibly be. We landed up selling in 6 days in the middle of January - something I didn't think was going to be possible and we got more than we expected for the house. If you're buying or selling, go with Irene - she is simply the best!

ZillowVERIFIED Working with Irene Tanis is like working with family but in a positive way! The first time you meet her you can't help but feel like you've known her for a long time. She is very easy going but at the same time she is on top of the comings and goings of the real estate market. She listens very carefully, asks thorough questions and makes you feel (and know) that she is the right choice to sell your home! And she does just that! We listed our home and in 2 weeks it sold! The paperwork and closing went so smooth it all felt like a dream and not a nightmare. Thank you Irene. We will highly recommend you to anyone asking about a realtor!

She knows the area extremely well. Irene is well connected to the pulse of the area. She worked diligently to get me the right home with the location and features I was looking for at a price that fit my budget. I was definitely pleased with the entire process. ZillowVERIFIED Irene is upbeat, high energy, and positive, no matter what! She is like a happy little whirlwind! She is extremely knowledgeable about her territory and the process! We had buyers the first day. They fell through. She put it back on the market and the real buyers showed up in less than two weeks. I was happy with the price, which was near asking. The nightmare that can be the period between Contract and Closing was the REAL hard work! Irene handled it with her usual upbeat energy, a smile, encouragement and attention. She is gracious and has a generous heart. I have worked with other realtors in the past years and I have never worked with a realtor I have liked so much or been so pleased with both process and result! I highly recommend you ALWAYS put her on your list to interview (I interviewed 5 total) before you choose if you are selling (or buying) in Teller County. She helped me do BOTH! I now also consider her a friend!

ZillowVERIFIED Irene, kind and experienced, made a very difficult family process, selling our parents' home, as easy, graceful, efficient and profitable as possible. She was keenly attuned to the process and so knowledgable of the local market. Since we were at times long distance, she was tremendously helpful in securing the local services we needed. Her office manager, Pam, was incredibly helpful, as well--so efficient and timely and communicative around the myriad details. Both were a delight to work with and have my highest recommendation.

ZillowVERIFIED Irene assisted us in both a search for and ultimate purchase of our current home. She was professional, courteous, and carefully listened and responded in a fashion consistent with our interests. She took her time to properly research potential properties that met our requirements and NEVER encouraged us to consider a property that did not meet our standards. Irene and her team were helpful throughout our search and purchase cycle and we would highly recommend Irene as a realtor to anyone looking for a home in the extended Woodland Park area. Really good, quality people with a keen understanding of their profession. Give 'em a call if you are looking to sell or purchase a home in the mountains. You won't be disappointed.

ZillowVERIFIED Irene's assistance with us was SO excellent.....we were considering a home in Rockies - with much of process basically occurring from our home in the Midwest. Through her tools, listings, expertise and advice, we were able to remotely identify a group of listings in which we had interest, then schedule a trip to the region & meet with Irene to actually tour our targets. She helped us eliminate those that we'd obviously NOT want to pursue, and supplement the list with new/add'l ones we'd overlooked. Ultimately, Irene was the Go-To person in the region - knew the history of community, most properties and the culture/personalities of various addresses....she guided us to PERFECT spot for us, helped us work through the purchasing process, and followed up during inspections & closing. After the sale took place, she has also been invaluable source of knowledge about local tradespeople, permits/licenses, wildlife, etc etc. From A to Z (and beyond) - we couldn't have asked for better service or abilities. If there's a Super Bowl of home buying, I'd think Irene Tanis would be a shoo-in candidate to be in the competition! Working with anyone else in the region would be silly.

ZillowVERIFIED We first worked with Irene in 2008 when she helped us to purchase vacant land. In 2010 we worked with her again when she helped us in the search for, and purchase of, our current home. In June of 2012 we sought Irene's expertise once again as we were looking to purchase another land parcel, and once again she did what she does best in helping us every step of the way from the search to the closing and everything in between! Irene has always been extremely responsive and helpful and we would not use any other realtor in the area. She is not only a great realtor and knows her business well, but Irene is a genuinely nice person and has made the times we have worked with her a real pleasure. We would highly recommend choosing Irene and the Tanis team. We will continue to work with the Tanis team on any future property sales or purchases.Justin & Erin Snyder

She is professional, knowledgeable, incredibly efficient in addition to being kind, caring and compassionate. She has an outstanding personality and while she is very busy, she will always make time available to assist you with a positive attitude and a truly helpful demeanor. She is bar none the best real estate agent you could work with. We have purchased two homes from her and she has sold both of them...within a short period of time. She does a fantastic job of listening and finding you the right property as well as finding the right buyer when you need it. She takes care of all the details along with Pam in her office, who both go above and beyond for her clients. I highly recommend her!
