Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Plan about a year ahead and really think about the kind of home you would like to buy. Meet with a real estate agent (or two) to discuss the home-buying process. Your real estate agent will be a valuable resource for guiding you to other trusted professionals you will need to get you into your new home.

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Interview a couple of real estate agents to get their perspectives on the market, your home, and their services. Not every agent works the same and it's important to find the one that is a good fit for you and your needs. It is not always about the commission.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

I work with all types of sellers and their scenarios, Such as sellers who are moving out of the area or looking to buy a different home in the same town. Sellers who need to sell due to divorce, financial reasons, or family estates. I also help first-time buyers, move-up buyers, and buyers relocating to the area. I also work with investors to help them purchase homes to flip or add to their investment portfolios.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

I assisted a seller who was disabled and unable to leave her house. The house was in pretty bad shape so we worked out a plan to find her a cash buyer that would be willing to work with her needs. She was able to get what she wanted for her home without the added stress of her having to move 40 years worth of belongings.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

After working in a corporate setting, I decided that I wanted to have a career that was dynamic and could make a difference in people's lives so real estate was a natural choice for me.

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

Marketing is my passion, I am very particular about how my and my team's professional image is portrayed across all platforms and to make sure that we deliver on our promise to the clients we represent.

We contacted Imelda, when we finally decided to move from New Mexico to Odessa. Since we had no knowledge of the area she was able to give us a variety of homes to view. This of course was done in keeping with all the specifics we wanted in a home. She also was very helpful in getting us prepared to meet with the lenders. When it comes to buying a home our realtor Imelda Allen made the process as easy as could be ! You hear horror stories of how stressful buying a home can be, but I couldnt figure out why because Imelda handled everything! She pays very good attention to any detail you need to know. She was in constant communication with us on every step of the process. Also knows how the businees works and when sometimes some of the process and paper work seemed to sound like a foreign language to us , she made it make sense. We used Imelda Allen to sell and purchase our home in Odessa TX in March of this year and she was outstanding. Before choosing a real estate agent, I conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. Imelda Allen stood out as the best Odessa has to offer: her social media presence was strong, and I could tell she put a lot of work into her listings. We spoke with Imelda and then met with her at our home. She spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes she sells, how long her listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. We were concerned that our house would be tough to sell. Imelda made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors dont (but should), like give us staging tips and a lot more. When we saw our listing we were blown away. Her hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing. Ive recommended Imelda Allen to everyone I know. Shes a true professional and a genuinely nice person. I realize it wont always be this easy to sell your home, but I think youd be hard pressed to find a better Realtor.

Imelda did a great job finding properties that fit our wishlist and was also always more than happy to work in showings for homes we found online as well. Imelda is an outstanding realtor that will go above and beyond for any of her clients. Imelda helped my husband and I purchase our first house around 3 years ago and then went on to help us sell that same house about 3 months ago. As with any sale everything doesnt always go smoothly and Imelda held it together for me when i was weak, She is not only an amazing realtor but also an amazing person.
