Picking a good realtor is one of the most important steps in selling your home, and we were very lucky to choose Ilene. From helping us stage the house to negotiations to navigating the closing process and everything in between, her experience and knowledge of the Rockaway area was invaluable. She was always responsive quickly for all communications, and Ilene and her husband Rudy were always there to help, as we were selling the home remotely and couldn't always be there. The home sale process could not have gone easier, and that's because she's a great realtor. Would definitely recommend.

By a happy coincidence, we received a call from Ilene just before we planned to begin researching a realtor in Morris County to sell my moms condo at Fox Hills in Rockaway. Her voice was so soothing, and she was so reassuring about making the process easy, despite the laundry list of things I said I didnt want to handle myself. I told her my brother-in-law in Texas never even went to Florida to sell his moms place, because the realtor did everything, and that was what I had in mind, although we live in a nearby county. Ilene said that she and her husband/partner Rudy would take care of everything, and they meant it. Ilene and Rudy were thorough and professional, always available, understanding and kind, and so knowledgeable about Morris County in general, and Fox Hills in particular. They were wonderful with the upstairs neighbor about a minor leak, and obtained a plumber for him. They secured the preferred contractor to upgrade the security system, meeting him there when he arrived, and locking up when he left. One of them was there to let in the junk removal company employees when they arrived and close up when they left, so we didnt have to spend the whole day there, watching Moms belongings being hauled away. And all the responsibilities Ilene and Rudy accepted were particularly inconvenient (and heroic!) because shortly after we signed on with them, the Route 80 sinkhole fiasco made access to and from Fox Hills time-consuming and exasperating every single visit. When we hit an unexpected snag with the buyers finances, Ilene and Rudy advised us honestly about our options, patiently guided us through, and kept the sale on track. Their working relationships with so many other local professionals was a huge asset! Rudy and Ilene are dedicated to their clients. They are honest, hard-working, communicative, and unflappable. They are complete professionals that feel like friends/family.
