ZillowVERIFIED Call it serendipity: a man (my age) appeared at a friend's garage sale. We chatted and he shared that he was a realtor in the area. When the time came to get serious about selling my home, I called Team Edelstein and that's how I met the man's son, Henry. Henry was professional, organized and knowledgeable about the area and I decided to list with him. It's a decision I haven't regretted! Initially I sometimes resisted his suggestions but then consented. He and his staff had skilled painters, flooring, repair and electrical contractors that performed the work reasonably. Team Edelstein kept in contact with me weekly, even when I moved south for the winter. My home listed in January. What a cold and miserable time to sell a home!! I believe the home sold in three weeks. TE assisted me with all the closure activities even though I was 1800 miles away. When the time was right, he found me a wonderful place, I know call home, off market, in a highly competitive area in Highland Park. When we were closing he helped me negotiate and secure a new roof for the house and the 900 square foot garage, a new AC unit, removal of an old gas tank, updating attic rafters, and more - all through the sellers expense. He didnt stop after the sale, like most agents do. He connected me with reasonably priced contractors for refinishing the floors, securing a dumpster, and even going to Best Buy to pick out a washer/dryer (given my busy schedule). He even gave me tips to maximize more home value in the remodeling process! Henry continues to touch base with me (6 months after the sale) and check in. Our new house build started at the same time as our current house at the time was list on the market for sale. It was important to us for a fairly quick sale on our current home without settling for a lower price that our home was worth. This is where Henry Edelstein and his team come in. Henry was an outstanding listing agent and put together a plan and timeline specific for our unique situation and needs. He guided us through every step of the process including the home appraisal, staging, photography (including still photography, Matterport 3D space capture and drone footage), marketing our home, and providing excellent resources on things like painters, carpet layers, contacts for septic and well,testing and many other things. Henry not only has wealth of experience in the real estate industry, but he also demonstrated thoroughness, attention to detail, provide regular feedback and was always reachable. I am 72 years old and have rarely seen this type of excellence, customer focus and attention to detail. The sale of our home was a major life event for us and I cannot over emphasize how pleased we were with Henry and his entire team. I inherited with this house from my brother whom recently passed away and it needed work! Henry took the reins and made my life so much easier.
