We've got a new 5th wheel that we love to travel in -- full-on "glamping" style with A/C, a fireplace, and all the comforts of home. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Start by getting pre-approved with a trusted local lender so you know your budget and can act quickly. In markets like Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and North Port, well-priced homes can go fast. I also encourage buyers to focus on lifestyle — whether it’s waterfront living, new construction, or proximity to schools — so the home fits long-term needs, not just today’s wish list. Having a Realtor® who knows the Southwest Florida market helps you navigate bidding, inspections, and negotiations with confidence.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Pricing correctly from day one is the key. Overpricing can cause your home to sit, while the right price generates strong activity and multiple offers. In Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda, homes that show well with professional marketing — photos, video, and online exposure — sell faster and for more money. I also coach sellers to think like a buyer: declutter, make small repairs, and highlight lifestyle features like pools, lanai spaces, or water access. My appraisal background helps sellers understand true value so they can maximize their return.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve had the privilege of helping over 500 families across Southwest Florida. My clients include first-time buyers, snowbirds relocating from states like Michigan, retirees moving into maintenance-free communities, luxury waterfront sellers, and investors purchasing rentals or vacation homes. Because I relocated here myself, I work closely with out-of-state buyers who need extra guidance navigating the move. I started my career as an appraisal trainee, which gave me a strong foundation in valuing homes accurately.
