Heather Chavana

Heather was raised in a small town in East Texas. She graduated high school with a class of only 32! She then attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches before moving to Houston. After managing tanning salons, she began her real estate career with the Ronnie & Cathy Matthews Group. Heather has worked in the team's Listing Department, REO/Foreclosure Department, and Pending Department. Currently in the Pending Department, assisting buyers & sellers from contract execution to closing, Heather explains that this is her favorite part of the transaction. She enjoys assisting her clients meet the deadlines set forth in their contract and also enjoys the consistent communication with her clients that the position brings She finds assisting clients under contract rewarding. In 2018, Heather took on the role of General Manager for the Ronnie & Cathy Matthews Group. She also obtained her Broker's License and is a Broker Associate for the team. Heather prides herself in her work ethic and communication. She makes herself available to her clients seven days a week. She is extremely detail oriented, timeline driven, and always in "go" mode! In her free time, Heather enjoys time with family. She is married and has a daughter & two stepsons as well as a dog named Paco, all of which keep her very busy. She loves to work out, watch or play sports, and participate in outdoors activities. When possible, she enjoys traveling and short weekend getaways.
