My husband and I couldnt be happier with our homebuying experience, thanks to Harvey. He was the first realtor we ever worked with and we got so lucky. He is beyond knowledgeable about the entire homebuying process (not just the searching and touring part) and he has so many contacts in the industry, which makes the process run smoothly. For example, when it came time for us to obtain a mortgage lender, he had a recommendation. When we needed to secure a lawyer, he had a go-to person. The process was so much less stressful because he really knows what hes doing and knows other people who also do a great job. And now that we just closed on our first home (yay!), we are still using his recommendations for contractors. You can tell he really cares about being a real estate agent and that this is his full-time passion. Hes not a realtor who has three other jobs and doesnt have time for you. He gives you his full attention. He always followed up and checked in with us and he is a very clear communicator. He always confirmed dates and locations and contact information with us throughout every step. He is also not pushy. I think that might be his best quality or at least most notable since realtors get a bad rep for that. He really wants you to find the house that you want. He asks what you didnt like about a home so he can better understand what exactly youre looking for. He is very patient and truly believes that visiting a home, even if its not the one for you in the end, its still a valuable experience because thats how you learn whats right for you. For example, we saw a house that had a large section of bamboo in the backyard. Harvey was straight up with us and explained that bamboo is very difficult to get rid of as he had a personal experience with the plant. That showed us that he wanted us to be armed with all the information and that we can trust him. I cant sing his praises enough. He was so helpful and made this process so easy, especially as we were house hunting with an infant to top it off and sometimes came with an entourage (our parents and siblings). He even gave us a wine and cheese gift basket at our closing. Hes a really great and nice guy who has a family himself and he knows how big of a purchase buying a home is and how important it is to be comfortable with your purchase. In this current market, people usually offer over the listing price but we ended up offering the exact listing price, based on HarveyaEUR~s recommendation. Of course that would not be best in every scenario but he just knows how to gauge a situation and get you the house that you want. Weve learned from this experience that communication is everything. Communication with your realtor, attorney, mortgage lender and beyond is essential and Harvey was that strong leader who brought together our entire home buying team and got us a house we love. We cant thank him enough and we highly recommend him to anyone!

Harvey worked really hard with us to identify the right towns, type of house and curating the list of need to have vs. nice to have. Every house we saw with him, he would walk around pointing out the good and bad but also letting us make the ultimate decision on how the house matches to our needs.
